Hey everyone, i was just curious ive been looking for about a month now on how to be a video game tester ii know theres ways to ifnd out but im having no luck at all if anyone knows how please add me to your friends and message me or even reply back itd be really great to find something, but yah gotta get back to my psp so ill talk to you all later.

if any of us knew im sure we wouldnt still have mediocre 9 to 5 jobs.

Game testers don't make a lot unless they're temps. And when they're temps, they have to deal with crazy hours. Right now, I'm making $8.14 an hour, and that's more than I can make as a tester, to give you an idea. And you don't get to choose what games you test, and they're not necessarily working when you start.

If you can deal with that, I'd apply at a local game developer. There are a few companies out there that test for the developers, but they're few and far between. In the meantime, do as many beta tests as you can, MMO's, FPSs, stuff like that.
