Kind of reminds me of You Only Live Twice (the book, not the movie). Blofeld was hanging out in a castle in Japan, and he cultivated this huge "garden of death" filled with poisonous plants, piranhas, etc. And Japanese people would frequently go there to off themselves in some horrifying and exotic way.

That was nuts. At a rate of one suicide every 3-4 days, there has to be body's all over the place there at any given time. :?

I find it completely fascinating and I really want to visit there actually. The forest itself is simply beautiful BTW.

Such a beautiful place. I wouldn't waltz in there though mainly because fear of getting lost.
