Agree, more praying is awesome! we should also show off our guns on video game forums and let all victims of mass shooting know that we will protect them

I'm not really one for gun control, but the amount of mass shootings happening in the U.S is just alarmingly bad and we should be embarrassed. Maybe something should be done about guns after all? All of these prayers and what not don't seem to be doing anything and it won't stop. Something needs to be done starting now!

Seems normal, very sad for this to be a common occurrence, but US will never do anything about it.

@davillain-: Just like every other mass shooting, the US government won't do shit about gun control. The gun lobby has too much power in the US.

Sadly this is true. U.S knows it's what fills the economy when it comes to buying guns and us Americans take pride in our guns. And yes, I'm a weapon owner but I only carry my gun just for self-defense only.

I haven't heard of a mass shooting since months. It doesn't happen everyday, more like 1-2 per month.

@watercrack445: just the fact that you can think 1-2 pr. Month is a defense for anything is beyond crazy.... I love usa( on vacation in Florida atm) but damn your gun laws are beyond ridiculous...

Pretty terrible but, hey, if we can shoot up our schools why not an e-sports event?

I get more and more desensitized to mass shootings as each one occurs and I do not like that; as Dave Chappelle said "I am out of closet space".

Gun control is the only thing we haven't tried, and oh gee! shootings keep happening! maybe gun control will help after all!

Politicians need to get there heads out of the NRA's ass first.

What exactly do you mean by "gun control"? I'm just wondering because guns aren't exactly unregulated here in the USA. So I'm wondering precisely what you mean when you say that "gun control is the only thing we haven't tried."

My condolences.

---

If they turn this into a 'games make people/men violent' type story, please keep in mind this was a sports title and that, at this event alone, there were many gamers who decided to not shoot someone else. I suspect this has more to do with the individual. I wouldn't be surprised if some 'journalists' get all excited over this.

Wow...something is seriously wrong in the US. I hear people asking for gun control but how exactly though? I mean it makes sense but taking away guns in a place where firearms are already widely distributed, legally AND illegally also means the law abiding citizens are stripped of an effecetive deterrent defense against well armed criminals.

Also firearms are also available in ither countries but they dont have mass shootings. They have shootings, just not mass shootings. Not at the rate US seems to be suffering. Or am i wrong?

Which only leaves "must be something in the water" as the only reasonable conclusion.

Maybe bad healthcare has something to do with it. I mean, this person was probably unstable. And I wonder if he got therapy for that.

I looked it up and it looks like he was in therapy for psychiatric problems and was not doing OK for many years already. Very unstable. So not someone who should be carrying armaments. I wonder if there's anything in place in the USA to stop unstable people from carrying?
