If a psychiatrist went psychotic what does that tell you about psychiatry? He doesn't make itseem credible nor helpful. They should be checking everyone for weapons when they enter & exit no weapon zones. I don't care If the guy or gal is four or five star general. It can be done. They trusted him because he was a major, which doesn't mean anything me since he's not a battle commander therefore he shouldn't even be a captain. You could extend his pay grade by special-purpose but don't makesomeone a captain or a major or beyond just to keep the pay grade uniform.
All troops should be able to carry a sidearm at all times for security & personal as well as pesonelprotection. You would haveto be one crazy out of your mind foul-up to believe it's a good idea to challange a hundred or acouple thousand pistoliers. He knew they would bedefenseless andhe exploited it.
What kind of soldiers do we have today? We trust our police andcivilians to carry pistols all day every day, but we can't trust soldiers? They need psychiatrists because apparently their instructors failed to drill the weakness & fearout of them. Or they are not qualified to be soldiers sothey should havebeenrejected from the armyif recycling wasn't conditioning them. Then their psychiatrists shoots them. During the shooting they cry and panic. They are last resortpersonel, so if we ever had tosend them into battle it would be just be killing them. Youcan either die getting shot in the back while running away or while rushing. You may not live but blocking him will save others. If they would have spread out and bum rushed him he would have most likely ran to avoid a massive tackleor been tackled before he could have shot as many as hedid.
Why did they keep himalive? They already know he's a homicidal idiot. Do theyactually expect him to justify what he did?Does he have some grand wisdom beyond our understanding that will enlighten everyone and justify hislack of self-control?Killing never reallysolved anything, sometimes it's necessary, because they ask for it by being a mortalthreatto someone else. Major shoot em up did what he did out of spite so if anyone deserved injury or deaththat day it was him.
