Any good suggestions out there. I want to be able to plug my mp3 player to it and just blast music while ghost-ridin' da whip !
Ok, seriously, I'm tired of my CD player skipping whenever I get some bumps in the road.

Which specific part of the sound system? The in dash, amplifer, or subwoofers part?ExiledHeroThe main part, the player.
my best suggestion would be don't spend to much. Honestly you can get a good deck (either one capable of mp3 player input or without and just add a cable) a set of ok speakers for not to much money (personally i like JVC and Panasonic, but it is your call brand wise). I think it is dumb when people dump huge amounts of money into decks and speakers, amps, etc, all the extra money does not help the sound quality that much and for the most part it makes you (the cars driver) look liek a fool, vehicles with music blaring are annoying and stuff is often installed poorly which causes a lot of vibration and movement and causes the vehicle to rattle which, no matter how nice a car you might drive, makes yoru car look liek trash. Roland1987My heart, shattered :(
Just get a normal system with a 1/8 jack IN for plugging your mp3 player... no need for some **** speakers in the back of the car.RedgarlThat was my plan all along :|
Stop hating the playa in me
Oh the in-dash? Well I recommend a Sony In-Dash player. Don't remember the exact model, but it costs about $80 down at Circuit City, and comes with an auxiliary input to connect your mp3 player to.ExiledHeroEasy to install ? I have no patience regarding these things.

So if you know it, why are you asking us? Just find some site and search for what you should get with other reviews.

Well it was for me. My friend was missing a wiring harness when he bought his, so he bought it there with the player and got the installation free, so you should check if they have deals like that at your local Circuit City. In other words really, depends if you have basic knowledge of it.
Here's this one: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Sony-In-Dash-Player-CDXGT110/sem/rpsm/oid/159661/catOid/-13089/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do
I personally would pick Sony XPlod over anything because, well, I have one. As for speakers, I think I only spent $65 for 4. The guy I talked to that works at a Stereo Storesuggested I go 3 way in the front and 2 way in the back. So, I got a couple 3 way Sony XPlod's in the front and Pioneer 2 ways in the back. Sounds awesome.
Anyways, here's all the ones that are on CC.com that are under $100: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/In-Dash-Players-Changers/sem/rpsm/catOid/-13089/N/20013088+20013089+313089001/link/ref/rpem/ccd/categorylist.do
