Toonami has been cancelled and I want it back on air. What about the rest of you, do you want Toonami back?

I'll just place this idea in my rejected suggestions box. If you know what I mean.

I haven't been a weeaboo since middle school. And even then I had the decency to not watch my **** dubbed. Never looking back, though. It was shameful that I ever had such tastes.

When Toonami existed in Denmark, I didn't have Cartoon Network. Now that I can watch all those channels, they don't air cool cartoons like Batman Beyond, oldschool batman from the 90s or Samurai Jack. Honestly, I don't care.

If I ever really want to see the shows they aired again, I'll download 'em. Besides all of Tenchi Muyo and Yu Yu Hakusho are on Youtube, so Youtube might as well be Toonami.

I want smart animation blocks back.

Right after school? Fox kids started. Right before "dinner" but late enough that kids could still do things outside? Toonami. Saturday night after outside fun for when you're too young to be going to the mall, etc? That video-gamey looking thing.

I'd like Toonami to come back because it would be a way to watch new animu without having to drop crazy amounts of US Dollars on DVDs.

I would like cartoon network go back to their grass roots. Bring back something similar to Toonami with a ton of quality animation.

Not for myself, but I think it'd be fantastic if kids had something besides live-action Disney-Channel shows to watch.

Seriously have you seen the ***** that has taken its place.

CN went down hill after it died (well from steady decline to free fall)

I would watch it if it was the old Toonami. I didn't get CN until about two years before it took a dive in quality, but those two years were pretty damn awesome lol.

I don't really want it for myself, the anime shown back then were good gateways to bring me up to the better anime I watch now.

I bought a lot of the animes I enjoyed on Toonami and I don't really miss Toonami that much. I considered it as a launching pad for some of my favorite animes, but after a while it stopped airing good ones so I stopped paying attention. It had it's day in the sun, but CN has decided to stop being good anymore and hasn't been relevant since the early 2000's.

Frankly I'd be happier if they'd just get back to making great cartoons in general like Johnny Bravo, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, and Samurai Jack.

But they won't because they're far more interested in cashing in on the live-action/low budget garbage that they can market easily and cheaply.

Quality cartoons are dying. Hold them close while you can.

They should have their own Channel.
They can show all the shows they showed over the years durring the day, and on the midnight run.

Where else have you ever seen Ronin Warriors =V?

I feel bad for kids. Growing up was great because toonami didnt tread its viewers like annoying douchy kids. Toonami always had the best promos and commercials

I know right. At one time, toonami was where it was at for more mature cartoons and animes. If they got some good new shows and a classic or two, I'd be all for it.

maybe the late 90s/early 2000s version of toonami that i always watched back in 3rd grade. you know, before they changed toms look from a cool space marine looking dude to a freaking animatronic from disney land

I mean seriously. how could you change this:

tom from toonami

to this:

tom from toonami again

at least they kept the voice actor the same all those years.

man, i cant believe that show was on the air for 11 years! i remember when it first aired. now i feel old...

No because of the following reasons:

  1. I do not live in America to receive this "awesome" anime.
  2. I do not own a cable box.
  3. I do not watch an anime from half-way though. I would rather buy the DVD and watch it from episode 1.
