Hey guys.

I have been thinking about starting a group of likeminded people. A place where no body gets left behind and it is made sure that everybody has what they need even if they can't afford something. A membership fee would mean members can be taken care of.

Let's say you are a member in my group and your only car breaks down. You could turn to that group and could be helped.

I miss a feeling of belonging together in this society. ..

@MonsieurX: you could turn that statement into constructive criticism by adding some detail on why you think that

Huh. Kinda like the PCMasterRace subreddit? Cool.

I mean, you could create a subreddit, or some other kind of gathering place, because you would need a set place to "hang out" or whatever else.

@MonsieurX: What? Not really. I don't like the membership idea, but, I don't know.

@ruj88: Yeah.

You can't really just expect people on GameSpot to just join a group like that. Let me ask, are you a PC gamer?

@MonsieurX:

No its not. I can't count on 2 hands how many times supposed friends screwed me over. This is more like a brotherhood where people are responsible for eachother. On top of that. Paying a membership fee means that, say, your only car breaks down, the club will be able to help you get a new one. No one gets left behind. That's what I am talking about

@battlestreak: I'm not expecting anyone to join. I'm simply looking for feedback. It's just an idea I had for years. Yes, pc, ps4.

I'm just trying to figure out if people are simply too far gone already or if there is people left that care about community, but can't find that in this society.

It sounds good at first glance, but it will quickly fall apart when you have one or two a lot more needy members taking all the money because they have more "problems". As an online community it would be easily exploitable.

@ruj88: Well, if you're a PC gamer, maybe think about joining the PCMasterRace subreddit? Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/

This subreddit hates consoles, and often hate console gamers too. Sounds bad? It is. But if you can get past that, and all the circle jerk stuff, it's a really, really nice community. Pretty much everyone is like minded, it's a decently large sized community, they have frequent giveaways, etc. People just tend to be really nice there, and look out for each other. Definitely a lot of joking around though, but that's okay.

You mean the gaming community? Yeah, there are tons of people who genuinely care, and there are lots of them. It just may be harder to find them, since people are more likely to voice negativity, than positivity.

@MonsieurX: @bmanva Eh, I see what hes looking for guys. I think he's looking for a sense of belonging, and a good community of people to hang out with. While admittedly a paid membership is a horrible idea, and I mean horrible, I see what he's going for.

Sounds like the freemasons.

Also what your describing is essentially charity with paid membership.

Youd be better off joining one of those self sufficient eco towns dotted around the world.
