Was anyone disappointed that Quantum of Solace was a sequel?

Instead of being a regualr entry. I somewhat am. Casino Royale was fine, but not great enough to warrant it being the only one worthy of a sequel... I don't think so anyways. I'm not one to think that things should never change, especially in long-running franchises... but maybe I just have a bad taste in my mouth from Final Fantasy X2 lol

But really, I would just love to see Daniel Craig in a totally different storyline.

I never understood all of the Brosnan hate :( I thought he was so great... he was funny, had good style and looks, and was great as an action star. What is everyone's problem with him?

And yes I'd seen ones before him (Connery, Moore, Dalton). But he was (and still is) my favourite. Craig is damn fine though :) Damn fine.

Wow I din't know it was a sequel to CR. I feel so lost now. Who am I? Who's blood is this on my hands? Why am I typing my personal thoughts on an internet forum filled with people I don't know and could all be creepy middle aged men?

I don't mind that it's a sequel so long as it does everything that made Casino Royale so much fun.

Casino Royale was pretty good.

I don't go to the movies that often, so maybe I'll try and check this out.

They are doing a dangerous thing, tampering with James Bond movies by having a direct sequel to another one.

Not many fans will like it and if it turns out to be aweful then they'll hear it worldwide.

Also the intro song is terrible, makes Madonna's James Bond Intro song look good.
