I was....I mean dont get me wrong,it was an awful thing too have happend and all the brave people that died because of it should be honored....but...

Every channel or program you saw was talking about or giving some kinda of tribute because it was Sept. 11th.But does it need too be in our faces all day?...and as bad as it was do we need too be reminded of it from when we wakeup too when we goto bed?

For example, one of my favorite late night talk shows is "The Late Late Show with Craig Fergeson"....but because it was 9/11 he didnt do alot of jokes and instead talked about basicly the same thing every other network has said. He's known for making jokes and silly sound-effects after the first commerial break....but he didnt even do them last night.

Just because it was 9/11 doesnt mean we have comlpetly stop what we normally do...sure the tributes and ceremonies that are held in diffrent parts of the country are nice...but come on.

I meanlook at it this way....it was the anniversay of an attack on the US and its very sad for everyone....don't you think its nice too be able too get your mind off it at the end of the day and relax with some comdey?

I only watched MSNBC to see the live coverage of that day. It was weird trying to remember everything that happened a few years ago when i was 10 and now. It just seems different now that I'm older.

Always thought it was weird people who died in 9/11 are heros. If I got killed by terrorists, am I a heroic personification of morality? No, I got shot by terrorists is what.

While I feel continuing to talk about the situation may prolong the agnoy accompanying it, I feel it is necessary for us to always remember. That said, the one thing I cannot understand is how the people are constantly tagged as brave. I am not trying to be anti-patriotic here, but these people died without knowing what was coming, completely out of the blue, which made the murders more horrific. This however, does not make them brave, not in the same sense that we have people dieing knowingly to fight, and support our country...

The only place I saw anything 9/11 related is here at GS OT. That, and the freeways was a bit empty that day. :D

I just don't like it when teachers are talking about it. If you need to talk about it just give me statistics like they do to everything else instead of trying to justify that everyone who died was a patriot.

Yeah saying peoplewho died by the attack were "Brave" or "Heroes" doesnt make sense....cause they were just living thier noemal lives....however the firmen and rescue teams and US troops are brave because they are willing themselves and took those jobs on purpose...to help people and fight.
