Well at first i said no but after many long boring discussions with my Friends i decided to post this one up. At first i would have said no and left it at that but my friend convinced me that this was a worth while discussion. My personal opinion on this is it shares aspects of ff7 but has it's own story line but looking back on it now they were very close to one and other. I just need some honest player feed back on the matter that way i can lie this one down to rest.

for people who don't know

LOD: legend of dragoon

FF7: final fantasy seven these were from the PlayStation one ERA.

You'll want to take this topic to General Games Discussion or the Legacy Platforms Board.

Yes i did enjoy that very much how depending on what character you were and what your addition was the speed for the combo would change, so you would have to pick a combat effective addition that is easy to perform or just get the war god amulet, war god kinda killed the experience for me but what ever to win disk four.....

Well, I have never played LO, but Sakaguchi did come up with the concept of the Lifestream in FFVII. The story was heavily revised by Yoshinore Kitase though, and only that concept survived. I don't know if there is anything like the Lifestream in LO, but that's the only thing I can think of, since Sakaguchi has said he loathes FFVII, for obvious reasons (Square not using his original story)

no.... LOD production came way before ff7, but it would seem like it was to people who didnt know. FYI- LOD is my #2 game for PS1, I went back and beat it after a year of not playing it. It is an epic game, the soundtrack is WORTH 20 bucks. 52 tracks 130 average.. nice! awesome compositions. And the additions made the game imo... it wasnt mindless select-attack-defend-repeat
