I really don't like Metallica at all, their lyrics are absolutely awful and the vocals are bland, but I decided to listen to St. Anger and while it wasn't perfect it wasn't the atrocity people say it is. Anyone agree?
I listen to many types of music, so maybe it's just my tastes. Some of it is unbearably lame, such as "TICK TICK TICK TOCK" in Frantic, but the riffs are pretty good and I'm glad the songs don't go on for ten minutes with the same bland riff.

I thought it was meh, unlike the other awful albums they've released. It was different, for once. If by different you mean all the songs are pretty much exactly the same as previous metallica songs then your right.

I dilike the album. But what I hate the most is that Metallica's name is getting dragged through the mud so they can experement with their music. This stuff sucks. It's not Metallica,so slap another name on it and stop kicking the rotting carcass that was Metallica

Thank God for opinions. To me Metallica was at there Prime in Kill em all up to Ride the lighting. Some can argue up until And Justice For All.
rofl, I still remember the video for St. Anger where they play in the jail. St. Anger wasn't that bad a song, but then again, it was the only song I heard off the album. Did they even release any other songs as singles?
