Scared to the point that your heart is pumping, adrenaline is flowing through you, you're sweating, your eyes are wide....pretty much paralyzed in fear? or scared of some outcome?

Like cheating death, getting in trouble, something that terrified you, etc.

Anyone wish to share a story?

Cutting school for months and finally on the verge of getting caught was definitely scary. Especially when my mom and dad were giving threats of sending me to boot camp....

Edit: Actually, after reading the OP, I don't remember being afraid like that....:P

A few times. One of them was when a tree fell on me. The tree was like 60 feet tall and it fell on me at the tender age of 6. Only got a broken leg bone, amazingly. The other was when I had surgery. I was scared s***less when they rolled me into the op. I was 9 at that time. Edit: I almost forgot. I was incredibly scared when my dad went into his surgery for prostate cancer. I was 13 at the time, so I was really scared that I was going to lose him.

Quite a few times. There have been 2 times in my life where I thought I was going to die and that was pretty intense for me. One was when I got ganged up by 5 people. Another was a drug dealer trying to break my neck. That of course did not go as he planned but I am not going to lie and say that I beat him up, him and his friend that was with him made sure I learned my lesson. I took a beating on both of these occasions and I did learn a lesson :) This was over 10 years ago now on both accounts.

There was another time where my step dad went temporarily insane and we had to call an ambulance to take him to the hospital. One of his prescriptions had a bad side effect but luckily he was fine after about an hour. During the time he was yelling gibberish and freaking out. Thought he was gonna break my moms neck so I slammed him into the wall and basically stood over him to keep him from hurting himself after that till they showed up. It happened around the end of July this year

There was also a time when I was like 15 I think it was. My mom was in the hospital for cancer treatment and the night before she was supposed to come back my step dad had a heart attack. I remember rushing through the house getting things ready for the ambulance. My sister was waiting with my step dad. I was making sure all the cats we're locked up since when the paramedics come through they leave the door wide open and they we're indoor cats. After they took him in the ambulance I remember breaking down in my grandfathers arms and he threw me to the ground cussing at me and stormed out of the house. He was basically pissed cause it was going to cost him money as my grandparents we're paying for alot of the medical needs of my parents at the time to help out. I remember lying on the floor after that. That was the most scared, terrifying feeling I have ever had in my life. Lying down with both my mom and step dad in the hospital now. It all worked out though nobody died and everybody is still alive. Except my grandfather and I don't have any sadness about that. That last story went a little long sorry about that. Thats the ones I can think of atm

When I was 15, 5 years ago. I woke up and my mom's douchebag nosy boyfriend told her that I was looking up gay porn. I did. but he had no right to tell her that. The next day when I woke up, she told me she wanted to talk to me. I can quote her words ,"I don't want a gay son". I actually don't want to think of that day again.

Forgot about that. That is a horrible feeling in the pit of your stomach if you see it coming and can't stop it. Luckily I have gone nearly 3-4 years now without an accident. I was terrible in my early 20s

Its really odd but in all of the life threatening situations i have been in i have always had this aura of relaxation come over me. My entire time overseas was scary but every time i was close to the bad stuff i was totally at peace. Cant really explain it.

yes.

i was skiing. i suck at skiing even tho im canadian. i went to a very very steep hill where only good skiers go. i went down it and bam....speed picks up in seconds and next thing i know im zooming down the hill like sonic. i was grinding my teeth, i could hear my self moaning, my body was stiff, knees bent, i looked like a statue. i know i was suppost to do the left and right thing so i slow my self down but i never been good at that and i was thinking if i twist my leg even a little that i was going to trip and with the speed i was doing i prob would have fell really hard and prob break my neck/arm/leg.

so i just zoomed down that hill thinking i mite die, so as an athiest i am i actually found my self praying . as i was reaching the bottom i could see that theres a big line up waiting to get on those elevator things to go up the hill. i didnt know what to do. it was either run into one of these guys and hope for the best. because i just couldnt do the pizza thing to stop my self because of the speed. i saw this open space to my far left. it has like a ramp but not ment to be one. it was just a pile of snow going upwards. and there was a tree beside it. im like "F it!" so i went for it. rite b4 i hit the ramp i remember saying "oh sh1t!!" out loud. then i hit the ramp and next thing i knew i was in the air. the branches of the tree was hitting my face at the same time. i was hoping to land on my feet so it could be epic but i couldnt control my self in the air. then boom, fell, my ski's and sticks were all over the place and i was OK. i was laughing like a mad man. i could see ppl look at me like i was crazy. but man, i felt alive.

put back on my ski's and went for it again LOL.

Actually, he ruined a whole family dynamic. Even if its her house, he should know that it could ruin a relationship. He should have waited for me to tell her, or for her to ask me. He shouldn't have had a part of it, he is not even family. She was surprised, I am not feminine at all. I'm athletic. Nobody could tell I'm gay unless I told them.

In my opinion it was not his right to tell her since he was just her boyfriend. It wasn't your dad or something. Though if you already knew he was a jerk you definitely should have expected him to do it. Still as I said he was in the wrong for it in the first place as you already clearly know

Even if it was your dad it still would not be right. Should have given you the chance to tell her or whatever you felt you had to do

Getting robbed at gunpoint is pretty scary. Having the police search your car with pounds of weed and mushrooms in it is also very scary.

True enough. He should have given you the opportunity (dick move on his part) But i stand by my post as far as her right to know what gets looked at in her house...though it is not her right to know you are gay...if that makes sense

I had a cop pull me over right and the car reeked of marijuana. He just gave me a speeding ticket though and let me go but I swear if the cop did not smell it he must have lacked a sense of smell. I was terrified though the whole time

True, but being outed is the worst feeling EVER. He had only been with her for 5 months at that point. What in the hell place does he have to tell her that? Maybe if he was with her for 10 years or something maybe, but not 5 months.

Actually, I do have a moment like that. I almost completely forgot that I had surgery when I was 6 or 7 years old. I was scared as hell when they sat my on the table pushed me to the ER for surgery to remove an organ inside of me that would have given me cancer later in life. I was even more scared that they planned on performing the surgery with me awake. Didn't realize they were planning on putting me to sleep lol...

When I was quite young I had an operation, I won't go into what it was for. Everything started off all right, I had things explained to me and was put under in the wards via general anaesthetic. But about half way through I could feel the clamp on my thumb checking my pulse, the anaesthetic had worn off and I was now fully awake, with someone cutting into my body, luckily they had realised (I probably made it rather obvious) and put me back under almost instantly. I've had nasty falls, crashed motorbikes, bad trips...ext, since then but that has to be my scariest moment.

Yes, many times. Mainly to due to being about to get caught doing something I wasn't supposed to be doing as a child. Also, the looooong feeling of dread while your parents are coming home to discover what you have done.......it's THE worst feeling in the world.

I came home late one night and turned on the lights to find my dad pointing a loaded rifle at my head. Apparently he thought I was a robber. The scariest part though was that he didn't lower his gun right away, he pointed it at me for at least 10 seconds then when he finally lowered it, he just stared at me with this angry scowl then walked away. Turns out he was wasted, which makes that whole situation even more tense.

Recently an angry drunk dirver tried to hit my brother and I with his car. If we didn't dive out of the way he could have very well killed us both. The whole time everything felt like it was going in slow motion even when we dove out of the way.

Kinda reminds me of one time like a year and a half ago. We were going to drive to the wash to smoke (we were also young and stupid) but my stupid friend starting lighting up in my car when I told him not to. Eventually they passed it to me, just at that time a cop car came around the corner. I put it out quickly but the car was still pretty smoky and I was freaking out that the cop would pull us over. Thankfully he did not. I was so pissed at my friend.

[QUOTE="The-Tree"]I thought I heard noises while in my bedroom late at night. So I puled the claymore off my wall (true story) and waited for an hour, it was nothing I was just hearing things. :Ppablohammy

Like a big claymore sword or like and explosve calymore?

Me and some friend were skating and people started going really fast next to us and threw a ballon of white stuff at me. I was like 12 or 13 so i was scared ****less

The sword, it's like 2/3rds my size. :P
