Um the norm really, suffer from severe depression and have had urges to kill many times over the years :P But seriously i done well at school, have had a job for over a year and lots of freidns + a family that loves me blah blah blah :)

My interpretation of the film (not book) was that the hotel was merely a catalyst for the psychotic side of the father to show itself, and not in itself evil, although I can see how one could see it that way.
