wat was this thing called that kills ants?

i gotta deal with ants in my house, there was this thing that was like little green crumbs that u drop around ur house, and the ants will pick them up and bring it back to their hives, and then it'll kill the entire clan, wat was it called?

also, if u got any other ways of killing ants, lemme know.

I use Grants ant baits. You can get them at Wal Mart.

Just remember. Grants kills Ants.

Here's a real home-made method of dealing with them. If you know where they come from then put baking powder there. If you don't know then just put them around the corners or where ever. The basis behind that is that ants are primarily acidic while baking powder is alkali. The two react and they die. I used this in one of the houses i lived in and it worked a charm. Just be prepared to pick up a few dead ants from the corners once in a while.

If I don't get locked again by the luminaries who moderate the forums, you're probably looking for Boric Acid. Generally in a liquid form, this will take care of sweet-loving ants...they will flock to it and as you say take it back to the colony.
