Simple question. What do you think about Paul Revere?
The answer? Hilarious.
She shouldn't be on "vacation," she should be in summer school.

This YT comment pretty much describes what I'm feeling after watching that:
Obama can see 4 more years from her back yard.
Whether the media is being biased or not, I still dislike her and I hope she never steps 10 feet within a political race ever again. She always sounds nervous when she is talking, wonder why:roll:
I don't know what is, but I felt awkward watching that video.
That is pretty bad. I used to try to give her the benefit of the doubt despite not really liking her, but you can't really do that anymore. She screws up facts far to often, and there really is no way out of this one.
Well that's pretty embarrassing for her, considering she has a chance, albeit a small chance, at becoming the next U.S. President. chrisrooREven a small chance is too much of a chance for her.
Well its Sarah palin.... what do you expect? :lol:I'm not sure how she managed to mess that up so badly. I learned about Paul Revere's ride in 1st or 2nd grade. :|

I honestly don't think her mistake is a big deal.. Paul Revere is more of a nursery rhyme than anything else, hell he wasn't even the main rider who rode the farthest to warn the British was coming.. I honestly think Bachman's claim is infinitely worse.

Someone watches Bill Maher.
Even a small chance is too much of a chance for her.I agree. I am not a super fan of Obama, but there is no way that I would want her anywhere near the controls of the government, let alone a car.[QUOTE="chrisrooR"]Well that's pretty embarrassing for her, considering she has a chance, albeit a small chance, at becoming the next U.S. President. xXTalismanXx
Politican says something foolish. I'm shocked. It isn't like we haven't heard the president of "all 57 states" wish us a happy "Cinco de Cuatro" before.
So some people who are afraid of places like Iran having nuclear power would vote for that woman and give someone that stupid access to the largest nuclear arsenal in the world? SirDigby84
To be fair, the two person rule with nukes would prevent any President from launching them without consequence since both the President and the Secretary of Defense have to jointly agree to the launch. Movies that claim the President has sole authority to do a launch don't like to go into the SIOP since it's considered boring to some people.

Yeh i know it's not just a giant red button like in the movies but i think her foreign policy in general would be terrible for the rest of the world. I mean look at bush and what he did, she seems even more clueless. And speaking as someone not in the US, obama comes across as an actual decent person and seems genuine (unlike our own PM, cameron). And speaking as someone not in the US, obama comes across as an actual decent person and seems genuineSirDigby84

I dont know if thats insulting or condescending but imo also, Obama seems like a good bloke.
There's a fine line between mis-stating the day of a holiday and having no idea about a prominent person in American history. There is also a fine line between being foolish and being intellectually stupid.Politican says something foolish. I'm shocked. If she runs, you might as well hand Obama four more years immediately.

We can say that for the majority of the Republican candidates right now.. The only guy that seems to be some what promising is Romney, and he is despised by the Republican base.... To me the Republicans sealed their fate when Boehner as Republican head publically supported the Paul Ryan plan.

Oh, I'm not discounting that. It's just that I've always found it peculiar that Palin is the dunce, but somehow every other politician, even Joe Biden, gets a pass on the non-stop stream of dumb flowing from the holes under their noses.
A thread on how Palin is a dim bulb, really, what's the point?
Have his inauguration early just to get it out of the way.If she runs, you might as well hand Obama four more years immediately.

No, it just means this is the perception I would expect from someone on the outside looking in.

Well, I've never been outside the country and I think he seems like a good guy as well.

Someone must not be watching the same things I am, because Biden routinely gets portrayed as a dunce:P

Paul Revere is a prominent person in American history? What? His story is more of a fable than actual history...
Joe Biden thought that FDR was President when the market crashed to start the Great Depression...kind of more important to know then a the fables story of Paul Revere...
I'm no fan of Sarah Palin, but still...there have been much, much worse gaffes.

He's a Democrat from Delaware and Obama's relief, that makes him instantly sophisticated.
