Ways for the U.S president to become a dictator?

So if you were Obama and one day you lost it and decided you want more power. The power of a dictator to be exact. What are some ways and laws you would put into place to help you become this dictator? I would first destroy the U.S constitution, what would you do?

Leave politics and go into the corporate world. There are too many restrictions in the Constitution.

Some on OT would argue that Obama is a dictator already, but those people have a questionable sense of reality.

Do you know anything about the American government? Checks and balances and all that stuff...? Do you realize that if the President destroyed the constitution, he would also be destroying the document and basis for government that would give him his power in the first place? 

Presidents just don't wake up one day and decide to put laws into place...you should go do some reading, or something.

Of course to do that you're first going to have to wrestle control of state DoC's away from the individual states.

The U.S. does not currently have the conditions for a true dictatorship to thrive. But if you want more authoritarian tendencies for awhile, you can start by removing term limits. FDR for instance would have served 4 terms. That's more than a lot of real dictators get.

you should start by taking over the moon and running base of operations there
