weight loss help?????

hello everyone, i just wanted to ask everyone some questions. Well about last summer i was 5'7'' and about 150 pounds..i know..not that bad. Well i was forced to move to a new school and i am very shy so i didnt really go out for sports or anything like i usually do. So i sat around all school year didnt do anything. And well i hate to say but now im 15, 5'8'' and 195 pounts. Yeah..kinda heavy. And well i decided to go out for tennis here at my school since i used to go out for tennis at my old school. Well i went to my usual school physical so i can play. And the coach was sayin that i need to trim down a lot so i can play tennis. SInce i am good he wants me to play varisty and i guess here u have to be a certain fat percentage and i guess im to high. My coach says that i would pry want to lose over 30 to 35 pounds before school starts (august 17) so i can play.

I really want to lose the weight because i just think it will help my self esteem because im not usually this big and i think i get down on myself. I dont run much except when i play tennis every morning. My parents say i should just run alot..does anyone have any more advice?? I dont eat much either so...if anyone has any professional ideas..please feel free to tell me so i can lose a lot of weight this month

I've heard that if you eat your meals in small chunks, for example eating a bit of it, put it in the oven to stay warm, eat a bit more in half an hour etc., it speeds up your metabolism since it'll be easier to digest than, say, the whole meal.

yeah Lot's of cardio helps alot. so run alot i guess. I've never had to lose any weight so i really don't know.

try eating well balanced meals.(low fat, fruits, vegetables, some but not to many carbs) and run alot. running is very good. stay hydrated though.

yeah..my dad was a wrestling coach and he says to run ALOT..and drink lots of water. I dont eat much anyway..i have a begal in the morning...a ham sandwhich for lunch and then sorta big meal (various food) for supper since my parents are home then

Start lifting weights if its possible for you to get a gym membership or whatever. Not only will you build muscle and look sexy(no homo but the more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism. Start watching what you eat too. If you drink soda, drop it, drop the junk food and any other crap stuff cause thats just empty calories. Try and get as much protein as possible. Carbs are important too. Start doing cardio in the morning. Look into HIIT(High Intensity Interval Training), perform HIIT 3 times a week. Eat a banana before HIIT sessions. The other 4 days I suggest doing fasted long duration(45 mins or so) medium intensity cardio. Start doing calisthenics if you cant access weights. That is, start doing crunches, pushups and pullups. And do not starve yourself, youll be catabolizing muscle and INCREASING body fat% if anything. Eat small but frequent meals. 6 times a day, 2 hrs in between. Have a cheat meal(fast food or something) once a week. And dont be stupid and wear a sweater while doing cardio or something, Ive seen ppl doing that saying that the more they sweat the more fat they will lose. Thats garbage, sweating will only cause you to lose water weight which will all be gained back once you rehydrate. Any questions, ask me

hey..thanks a lot..the thing is that i dont eat much at all anyway..i have breakfast around 11..since i do tennis (not much of a workout..all i do is hit hit)..and then i eat a small lunch..and then a big breakfast..do u think that is fine or should i eat more..?

well over the winter i started lifting...thats pry some weight i put on..i started benchin 70 to 190..so i pry gained some weight in muscle there..

If you are eating right and exerciseing but still aren't losing weight, then maybe thats just the way you are. My advice is to drink lots of water, especially if your hungry. Sometimes you feel hungry but really you'rer just thirsty. Maybe buy wii fit when it comes out. I think it monitors you BMI. Good luck losing the pounds.

Replace meat with soy products. (veggie burgers and stuff like that) It tastes really good and is a hell of a lot healthier. Just don't eat too much because some are high in sodium. I like MorningStar products more than Boca.

Soup is a good filling meal.

Cut out all pop/sugary drinks.

Eat apples for breakfast.

Salt acts as a sponge in your body and holds water. Water stored in your body=weight.If you still haven't lost the weight in the week leading up to when you need too, I suggest cutting almost all of your salt/sodium intake.
