on friday i have to sign-wave for the political campaign that my mom is working at. but thats not all... its at a football stadium full of people from my school (my school is playing there). i cant get out of it because i need the community service points... what should i do?
if it was for something like the socialist party of America that would be so cool. they would probably call you out onto the center of the field. the lights would fad and a mic would rise from the ground. then that song milkshake would play and you would get to sing along and everyone would love you you.
You have to think strategically. In this case, the solution is simple. You have a sign to wave, and you want to conceal your identity, right? Put the sign in front of your face :D

even better, and im serious about this, completely disguise yourself, a hat maybe a wig, a bandana, a huge sweatshirt, stucc like that, you will be fine.
That counts as community service? There's nothing with sign-waving; don't get me wrong. I just don't see how that counts as a service to the community. It's more like a service to your candidate or political party.
Tell her it conflicts with your personal political ideology and it would be unethical and unamerican for her to force support for a campaign you don't feel strongly for. If you do support it but don't want to go tell her its not right to force support for a political ralley and you shouldn't have to do anything

If you can't get out of it there is really no need for advice.

Assuming that our democratic system works better with a larger voter turn-out, it's easy to see how participating in any rally to.. uhh.. rally voters could be seen as a public service.
