Ah good to know there are older people going to college because most people I know start going to college at age 18 But in my case I had my personal family problem for past 2 year or I would've been in college at age 19 but o well past is past can't really go back in time. I just have this bad feeling about myself that I'm little late for college at 22.

Basicly,if you think your going to be of place or something,it isn't high school. People don't all join at the same time,and your probably going to meet very few people that care if your not 18.
aight good know about that people dont care how old are you in college unlike in my family relatives they be saying you're so late for college pisses me off.
I started at 19, I then decided I did not like my major, and wanted to transfer farther away from home. So, I started raising funds for living expenses, now I'm 22, and just in-rolled to a new collage starting in the fall.
btw, i think my dad started college at 25, if it helps you. the only way it would be too late is if you were on your deathbed, hooked up to a respirator, with your grandkids at your sides.
I started at 18 there have been pretty old ppl in some of my classes and several over 20 so theres no reason to be honest, seriously after the first day you will see how different college is.
People a lot older than 22 attend college. I started when last semester (I'm still 18) and one of my classes was English 100. I swear, I really think I was the youngest one in that class.
I went right to college after my high school graduation so 18 to be exact. 22 isn't that bad of an age to start, I see people in the 40 at my campus. If you want to learn then there is no age that is too old for you.
Thank you for that post. I was wondering the same thing.. I'm 19 and starting comm college in March for a quick Transfer to the University in the fall. I also had a personal issue and why I didn't start out of High School... it's soo nice to know there is someone in the same boat.. relief ;)

No, not at all, man. There's a 35 year old guy in ROTC with me getting his degree. He spent 8 years in the Army prior to coming to Pitt. My cousin is going to start going to college next semester and he's 25.
