What are some features you'd like GS to have?

The other day, I was thinking how convenient it'd be if GameSpot had a notification system, similar to Facebook. Every time someone quoted you, or mentioned your username, you'd be notified (not through PM) on the bottom right of the screen.

Would you like this?

Also, what are some additional features you'd like to see on GameSpot?

I would also like a feature similar to that, such as list of posts which mention/quote my username. (similar to the posting history)

I want to look at peoples post history, you know when you find a guy who posts really stupid but funny things and you want to read more stupid but funny things from them, like the quote in my sig, that guy was hilarious.

well i hate it when FB sends me a notification for every stupid comment someone makes below the comment i've made on some random event.i hope this possible future GS feature doesn't work like that.

On serious note, probably Highlight section dedicated to games with low to no advertisement budget. They really need some exposure and chance to shine because some of them were actually better than high review score games.

I would just like the glitches to be fixed.

Make it a phpBB or vbulletin system.

Signature images to be no taller than 150 pixels ish...some signatures are just overkill.

Sub-sections for Off-Topic. Like a sub-section for Girl/Guy Help, Political Debate, Religion, ect.Steak_And_Eggs

But that would make OT seem a bit less diverse you know, like you would have forums where people can only talk about one thing and...I don't like the idea, I think IGN does this and it's boring.

I am not really all for the "someone has quoted you in a thread" notification. Maybe if there was an option to turn it off, sure. The thing is though, if a user participates in RC or some other big thread that is going on where 5+ people are commenting/quoting you, your inbox just blows up. MistressMinako
