Jabberwocky. :)Foolz3h
I'm not into poetry or anything, but that one is so ****ing trippy I love it. Never really took the time to analyze it though
Get yourself a copy of "Leaves of Grass" by Walt Whitman. There are a lot of shorter, easier to read poems that are still powerful. I suggest you read the poem "To a Certain Cantatrice." It's one of my favorites.
I also recommend T.S Eliot's "The Waste Land."
And Allen Ginsberg's "Howl."
I think you might be able to find all of them online. I'm not sure about Ginsberg's since it's more recent.
The Raven by Poe is an excellent one as is Jabberwocky...
Are you allowed to do sonnets? They are different forms of poetry and if so, any of Shakespeare's are good for analyzing.

I am definately not doing that one, has anyone read papas waltz?
Mine :P
Um....One I did before is Mary Wroth's "In This Strange Labyrinth How Shall I turn?", but a good one that I just read today is "Faustus Triumphant" by Thom Gunn. If you've read Doctor Faustus it should be enjoyable to work with. I had a fun time interpreting it at least.
