Lemme see, pulling up iTunes... My most plays seem to be that classical music appreciation set I got for music history and the recordings of "Assassins" and "Parade."

Bob Dylan, The Mars Volta, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Rise Against, Slaughterhouse, Radiohead, Coldplay, Eminem (I played the hell out of Recovery when it dropped), Coheed and Cambria, The Black Keys, Kid Cudi, John Coltrane, Del Tha Funkey Homosapien (Deltron 3030 is my most played album from Del), RJD2, The Raconteurs, Little Brother, Minus The Bear, and J. Cole.

Muse, mostly. But I do like Kasabian and lately I've been listening to a bit of Russian alternative rock.

I also like some music from the 1930s/40s (The Andrews Sisters, Billie Holiday, The Inkspots, etc.)

My mp3 player is mainly dominated by the entire catalogues from Metallica, Black Label Society, Slipknot and Deftones.

The rest is just a mix-mash of stuff like Nirvana, NiN, Jamiroquai, Team Sleep and Fear Factory.

Uhhhhh, no.

That's not what operas and musicals are at all. I know a lot, and I mean a LOT of people who would be furious if you stated that Phantom of the Opera was an opera. It is not an opera. It is a musical. The same goes for all the other ALW musicals. They are not operas. JCS can be billed as a "rock opera," but it is more commonly classified as a musical.

Your definition of "musical" is extraordinarily bizarre. A stage musical, by definition, can not be a "collection of music videos" because you generally don't use videos in a stage show except for very specific places. Your definition doesn't take into account shows like Into the Woods, Camelot, My Fair Lady, and tons and tons and TONS of other shows that defy your definition in that they have very strong plots, that nobody would *ever* classify as "opera." If anything, it's operas tend to have weaker plots than musicals.

For artists like Radiohead, Muse, Coldplay, New Pornographers and stuff, I usually have all of their albums. But I think The National is the only artist I've gone overboard with... all the albums, EPs, I even have a couple of bootleg collections from their radio sessions in France. Love every second of 'em.
