Sell your instruments to a pawn shop. You might not get as much as you hope for them, but it would still be something.

And in the future, don't buy stuff you aren't going to use.

This is what I did before I got a real job

wait tables

work in catering (I got paid about 150-250 a night depending on how long I worked, how many people we catered for, and what kind of tippers they were).

If you live at home (i.e. with your parents) and wait tables, you will make 200 bucks in no time. A good waiter at a small, reasonably busy restaurant will take home 60 dollars in tips no problem, per night.

1. Get a job

2. If you are not old enough to get one (or can't), cut peoples lawns (about $15 a lawn so thats only like 15 lawns)

3. Take out a large insurance policy on your house and burn it down right after (may be subjected to insurance fraud)

Recycle aluminum...but it will take a helluva lot of cans to make $200. Sell scrap metal also...
