Really, they mess up our economy, raise tax for the middle class, so why are you a Republican?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Well, I'm not sure why everyone wants to be a republican.
However, your thread is a bit misleading. It was not only republicans that messed some things up, but also Nancy Pelosi and and the Dems on Congress and the Senate. Of course no one would admit it on the media, but its a combination effort that got us to where we are.

I was born during the Reagan Era! Feburary 6, 1985!
I ALWAYS vote Republican since I was raised in a Conservative Family.

I feel that we should not control the whole territory, but help them establish a government where they can experience freedom and vote for their leaders. I do not believe though that we should control everything.

What are you talking about :? Obama wants to Tax cut 95% of the united states population, every one below 250k.. And the people above 250k are getting a slight increase.. Top that off all the taxes are still lower then what they were in the 90s :|..

Guys I don't know if you know anything about the issue.. But you do realize recent studies has shown that the United States health system is FAR from good.. INfact in this study its in last place in almost every catagory except one.
Now does this mean that socialistic health care is the best way? Who knows.. But Obama's ideas does have some good ideas.. For instance I am sure every one here is for giving health care to all children..

the thing that really messes up our system is the fact that we have it attatched to our employers which also ties people to bad jobs, also its keeping doctor visits expensive due to lack of competition.

Indepth plan of Obama, not quite sure on it.. Its pretty radical..
Under the Obama plan, the typical family will save up to $2,500 every year through:
Health IT investment, which will reduce unnecessary spending in the system that
results from preventable errors and inefficient paper billing systems;
Improving prevention and management of chronic conditions;
Increasing insurance industry competition and reducing underwriting costs and
profits, which will reduce insurance overhead;
Providing reinsurance for catastrophic coverage, which will reduce insurance
premiums; and
Making health insurance universal, which will reduce spending on uncompensated
care.
But its pretty interesting read that gives a clearer view on exactly what he wants to do.

a lot of our problems right now can be blamed on the things clinton did just before he left office. not to mention we could have had the oil from anwr or be close to having that oil right now if they didnt have there heads up there butts. also al gore screwed everyone over with his stupid propaganda and overexaggeration of global warming.xbox360isgr8t

Balme the new Republicans. Raising spending and cutting taxes, DURF DURF DURF
A real Republican lowers spending and taxes, small government basically. Since it's run so poorly I recomend Libertarian Party.
Really, they mess up our economy, raise tax for the middle class, so why are you a Republican?
psu5
Well, Joe Biden and Bill Clinton changed the Freddie Mac and Fanny May thing that according to Fox and MSNBC and a lot of internet sites started this economy thing, also the congress is the one who could have prevented it, not the president, so the democratic and republican congresses messed it up. If you are trying to attack John Mccain he brought the Freddie Mac, and Fanny May thing up in 2002, 2004, and wrote a bill in 2007 trying to fix it. Also they haven't raised Middle ****taxes. Mccain is also trying to lower taxes for the people and corporations writing everyons checks, and investing in the economy, making the financial situation better for everyone. Another fact is that there was 20% more tax revinue under Bush than Clinton, even though bush gave a tax cut to everyone.
There is a famous quote by someone that says "A government big enough to give you everything is big enough to take it all away" this includes retirement money (social security)and heath-care (medicare, socialized medicine). Last if you didn't know putting your money into government programs is the least efficient way to do anything, and government take over makes everything worse and more expensive, if you ever talk to someone in Canada about there health care system you will understand.
QFT. We don't take money from hard working people and give it to lazy people too.[QUOTE="monkeytoes61"][QUOTE="Pittfan666"]They don't screw up the country like the Democratic congress.sSubZerOo

How can he cut taxes on 95% when 45% of people don't pay taxes, except death tax and some other taxes that he will increase. Why should he take money from people making 250k a year and give it to people making less, all that leads to is less rich and more poor. Look at what happened in The Soviet Union, Cuba and other Communist Countries when they tried wealth redistribution.Please Log In to post.
