I've spent a lot of money on the kids this Christmas and now it's back to saving every penny I can find.

Do guys really need to celebrate christmas to buy stuff? on Christmas lots of good deals are available worldwide. I also don't celebrate christmas, but i get good deals. Plus there is this christmas spirit too go to parties on 25th with freinds, or to bake/buy christmas special cakes from bakerys, to decorate your home before new year. Don't think you need to celebrate christamas for those :)

@indzman: Not sure how it is here but in Portugal prices go up during Christmas so unless you actually celebrate the season there's no reason to buy anything.

We get nifty discounts particularly on online shopping sites. And there is this christmas mood. What you and mrs korvus do on christmas eve ? You can take her out on a fine wine and dine if you wish. :)

@indzman: Well, her parents normally do a kind of end-of-the-year family dinner and the day after that I normally need a not-with-the-inlaws dinner so we go fancy =)

All I want to purchase right now is a new headset and webcam. Though I'm not waiting till christmas to do so. As for video games, I'll probably get one or two during this steam sale.

Buying my daughter a new game for her Wii U. She is enjoying her SSB Wii U as well as I am and I'm buying her Pikman 3. As for me, I'm going out on a secret date on Christmas day and it's a Indian girl. This should be fun and can't wait for Christmas :-D

@Korvus She is 7 yrs old. When she was 6, I gave her my old Gamecube and she loves it. I started gaming at that age so I figure I give her own console and when she turn 7 this past May, I gave her a Wii U birthday present and she been hook up ever since. She is obviously not good at the driving in Mario Kart 8 but she's getting the hang of it :-)

For the stepson: Benny's Spaceship Lego set, Skylanders Trap Team, a Pikachu Amiibo, and a few Skylanders figures.

I'm considering getting one of the Intel NUC computers to use as a media center. I'll decide when Cyber Monday rolls around.

A plane ticket back home, then a road trip with the family to visit more family.

For the first time,I'm skipping Christmas.My Dad died in October,so I'm not in the Xmas spirit this year.

Thus far, I've bought myself:

• Nexus 6
• Chromecast
• Silver metal and brown leather bands for my Moto 360
• COD AW and Civ Beyond Earth
• Pechauer pool cue and had my pool table refelted

I want an electric shaver (razors are really irritating my face), and a couple more games like AC Unity and FC4, but I'll wait until Steam's holiday sale for those.
