Lords of Chaos. basically a documentary on black metal and everything that surrounds it. i've been into black metal for a few years and for some reason have only started to read this book.

also, every time i go into borders now i'll usually read an issue of The Walking Dead, cause i dont feel like paying 10 buck for something i can read in an hour.

Ghare Baire by Rabindranath Tagore.

I haven't read Lords of Chaos because I've heard that all they basically talk about is Varg Vikernes and doesn't focus on other important subjects regarding the black metal scene.

a HUGE chunk of it is about varg, which is ok because it is a very interesting subject, and while i still think the man is a complete tool, he does have some very thought-provoking ideas.  i will admit though the whole ufo/nationnal socialism bit is just flat out boring and dumb for the most part. aside from all that, it's a still a great read, especially on the rise of black metal itself.

I'll check it out sometime then. Does it talk alot about the National Socialism that surrounds Black Metal?

Your thread.  *rimshot*  But seriously, not reading anything right now, but when I get some time, I'm going to start reading Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness.  Yeah, it's not a real book, but it's closer to a book than anything I would be reading in the near future.

Comics do tell a story though and with time you can read so much than an actual book would have.

JG 26: Top Guns of the Luftwaffe

Jagdgeschwader (Fighter Wing) 26, the German elite fighter unit, was more feared by the Allies than any other Luftwaffe group during World War Two.

Nice!  I read "The Stand" last summer and was blown away.  I'm not sure which of his books is my favorite though, as I've read so many.
