What Are You Currently Reading: Everything's Better With Zombies Edition

I just picked up and started Pride and Prejudice and Zombies today. It's Jane Austen's classic Pride and Prejudice, only this time with zombies.

I just finished Ender's Game, and it was absolutely amazing. I wouldn't let any children of mine read it, though. . .

I'm currently back on Crime and Punishment. I had a few detours. >_>

Battle Royale. High school students murdering each other. Very fun read.

That book looks hysterical. My uncle is an English teacher, and he recommended this book to me. Anyway, I'm kind of in between books right now. I'm planning to get to "Odd Hours" eventually, as I love that series. I also have to read The Book Thief for summer reading, but it's supposed to be pretty good, so whatever.DeathHeart95

Let me tell you something, it seems awfully odd reading a couple of books with quotes by H.P. Lovecraft espousing their greatness.

Eknath Easwaran's translation of the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishadic text found in the Mahabharata, one of the two "epics" that go along with the four Vedas.

im starting lullaby by chuck palahniuk. ive never read any of his novels, but my friend recommended him to me. from what i gather so far, its a big stylistic jump from the kafka ive been reading lately.

I started reading The Vampire Lestat the other day, very impressed so far. I also ordered the Ender Quartet (Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, and Children of the Mind), 1984, Eragon and Eldest yesterday.

I have already read Ender's Game and was very, very impressed. I can't wait to read the sequels, and then the Shadow's series after.

I am reading loads of books on music as me and some friends are forming a band and I wanted to brush up on my music history (plus I find it interesting).

Almost finished with Sound of the Beast...

About 100 pages into Lords of Chaos.

And my copy of Swedish Death Metal arrived a few days ago. Haven't started yet.

Ok, this is the weirdest coincidence known to mankind...i just started reading "The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection From the Living Dead" by Max Brooks...

While we here, can anyone recommend me a real creepy story (no Dean Koonz). One of those ones where you're not quite sure what's happening but nasty stuff is going on, maybe it's supernatural.

Not IT, not The Stand, seen the films of those can't be arsed to read the book. Not a short story either, a novel.
