So Colorado's been having an usually warm January this year. It's a bit alarming. People are actually out watering their lawns and trees in my neighborhood. Every time I think it's going to snow, it disappears from the forecast. We have a couple of chances next week, but it's not looking that great.

Anyway, work as usual. More Game of Thrones. More reading. Started up Twilight Princess HD so looking forward to playing more of that.

No snow here yet this weekend, but you can have all of the sleet and slush we've been getting!

I've been throwing out / getting rid of / selling a bunch of junk I no longer need. I don't want to own too much stuff, and I generally feel better whenever my life is free of clutter. But the main reason is so I can pick up and move whenever with relative ease, if that happens.

Most of the day wasn't noteworthy. I have pretty much just been trying to relax. I might end up sitting down and playing a game for a while here, maybe some WoW Classic, or Diablo 3 if I wanna mix things up. I will probably try to stay up as much as I can, since my sleep schedule will have to change around a little soon.

Tomorrow there's a possibility I might get to meet this woman I've messaged here and there the past couple of years. I am not sure if she is actually interested in hanging out for a little or grabbing a coffee and talking or anything like that, but we'll see. Might not even happen. I guess it depends on if there is snow, and if she keeps responding to messages tomorrow.

Warm January? So far we are on average 7 C (or about 12-13F) above the normal January temperature where I live. Skiing classes have been cancelled due to the lack of snow. Lots of them in places where there are snow cannons to create snow if only the temperature is low enough.

Yesterday was almost like every other Saturday I think. Chores, working out. Instead of gaming in the evening I went to a friend's place. Saw the last Jurassic World movie.

Well it's summer here in Australia and it's really hot out so, just getting through my Anime backlog. Will probably start playing Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap soon too.

Yeah, here in PA we’ve had only one snowfall so far. I keep waiting for it but it never comes. A few weeks ago it was in the mid sixties, you could easily wear shorts and shirt.

Wonderful that we have an ignorant, climate denial hoax believing president who’s stripping away environmental protections left and right with his ignorant backers who laugh incredulously at arguments to retard this from happening.

It has been crazy warm here this winter as well as across the states as a whole. Definitely doesn't feel like winter at all.

As far as what I did on Saturday. Took a quick bike ride since the weather is somewhat mild to get out, caught up on some work, and finally played some videogames for more than my usual 3 hours every 2 weeks which was nice.

While I actually prefer little to no snow personally as it makes for mild days I can spend biking with my kids and more solar power to offset my electricity bill, I balance that against not wanting my state to literally be on fire all summer.

Took a trip downtown to a record/comic shop. Wife picked up some vinyl and I got a stack of comics. Then we hit a new spot for some beers before doing a little grocery shopping. A nice lazy Saturday. Spent most of Sunday in my recliner on my Xbox.

I'm thrilled how vinyl is making it's second coming.

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to water restrictions myself, which might happen if we don't hurry up and get some serious snow.

I guess it snowed out by DIA. Didn't see any of it anywhere near my neck of the woods (Westminster).

Very very little. Wasn't even enough to call it a dusting.

I returned to my car after class last night and it was damp. That's something at least.

@Solaryellow: I'm surprised by the amount of younger people I see picking up vinyl these days. It's nice seeing record players back on store shelves too. Makes me feel not so old. Now we just gotta bring back 8 tracks.

People say the closest way to hearing the actual music live as it happened is on vinyl. Compact discs and cassettes and 8 tracks just don't have the same sound. The odd thing is how turntables seem to be more readily available than the cd players you'd hook up to a receiver. It's crazy.

Edit: I have found so many albums (mainly soundtracks) that are now available unlike years back. One of my recent purchases is the soundtrack from Friday the 13th The Final Chapter.

Looks like we're finally going to get that snow. Will start late Sunday evening and work its way into Tuesday.
