Me? Nothing... Yet.
At first, I was under the impression that the stimulus was intended to help those who are unemployed or on reduced hours due to the pandemic hence the income limit which assumes you have enough money to not need it. And as for me, I'm not financial hurt, I'm still going to work and making a living, but me and my fiance both got our stimulus checks yesterday. Can't say I don't need it, but I'll take what I can get.
What am I going to do with it? Save it for emergency use only. Buuuut, I'll probably spend it on PC gaming components and a few games, but that part comes whenever Steam sale starts & GoG sales. Other then that, I won't spend it all like a madman lol.
Edit: I'm surprise President Trump didn't veto this. For once, kudos to him for doing this.
Right into my savings. That's emergency funds if needed. I'll probably buy a show digitally from Amazon or something, but that's about it.
Same thing that I'm doing with the extra unemployment money, paying bills and saving as much as I can for a rainy day fund.
Toward a new roof which had to be replaced since my neighbor did a bad job since it started leaking in the back of the house. I'll be surprised if I receive one so we'll see what happens. If I didn't have a roof to replace I would use to toward my credit card debit.
Read today that Trump's signature is to be on this check? Is it usual policy for the president's name to be included? I thought only the secretary of the treasury was.
More pathetic narcissism?
His name, not signature. And it causing delays in sending them out.

You have spelt cheque incorrectly, you don't actually have a cheque mailed to you do you?

Well, priorities and all when people are in dire need, I suppose.
I'm surprised Trump isn't demanding personal thanks from every one, or he'd do a take back.
Nothing. I didn’t get a stimulus check. I made too much last year so I don’t qualify.
Which is fine with me. I have enough saved to be able to go years without a job so that money should go to those who need it instead of being wasted on people like me.
A guy called me up from IRS and we set up so he could remote log into my computer to access my online banking to give me my money but he accidentally gave me $12,000 instead of $1,200 and he first started crying about how he was going to lose his job because I didn't want to give money back and then he passed the phone to the head of the FBI who threatened to arrest me unless I went to Target to buy twenty $500 Google Play gift cards, but told me if anybody asked that I was getting these for my grandchildren. When I got home I had to use the bathroom and left the cards with the redeem codes on the counter and my grandson Robert who plays a lot of games on his smartphone redeemed them all and spent the money on something called Fortnite. When I got back on phone with IRS he asked for codes but had to tell him my grandson spent them all and he started screaming "something-chod" and kept screaming in something that didn't sound like English, when I was younger I saw a movie called the Exorcist about a girl who is possessed by the devil, my second husband Herbert took me to it on our first date, anyhow the young man from the IRS sounded a lot like that young girl. The IRS locked my Gateway desktop and told me I couldn't unlock it unless I paid them what I owed them. I don't really need it, my last husband only ever used it when we ran out of Cialis to help him get a gentlemen's bulge but he died in front of that thing last year and honestly I hate looking at it, it's dusty and they keys are sticky. That probably explains how I got the virus this guy from Microsoft Refund Team says I have, he says because of the adult videos Fredrick use to watch, keeps calling but I said I am throwing it away and my grandson Robert is getting me an iPad, he says I am the best grandmother because I gave him all that Google Play money.
I guess I'm getting a washer dryer for my small ass apartment.
Most will try to talk you out of it, but it's completely worth it. You save money in the long run and have greater convenience. Do it.

Wouldn't his electric bill go up?
Fair point. Newer models are fairly energy efficient, but yes it will. Up to him to decide if it's worth the extra cost. If he commutes to a laundromat or is currently renting the appliances, then it would be negated.

What is the cutoff?
@Byshop: $99,000 for individuals. $198,000 for married filing jointly.
We must have been just under the wire. We ended up getting $1,600 but I echo your sentiment. If I hadn't gotten a check it would not have been a big deal but there are plenty out there who really need it.
