So just wondering what the posters of OT are planing to become or already are. I for one have no idea. I want to be a game designer but it seems like a hard field to get into and the fact that I have no idea how to make a game.
Currently I shoot/edit videos. They're usually 15 - 30 minute promotional videos for various places around my city. In the future my friends and I are planning on getting a local TV show off the ground (which the three of us will write, shoot and edit) which will hopefully eventually lead to a career as a producer of such projects. Instead of doing the dirty work, I will be hiring others to do so. It's all going quite well so far, and I'm able to live off of what money I make from it. Plus, I enjoy it, which is a key factor!
Civilian: Work in a Cafe. Making food make me happy.
Military: Marine Corps Sniper, US Navy Hornet fighter pilot, Army: bomb disposal/defusing, Air Force gunner on the AC-130 Spectre gunship. "Spooky-Three-Two, use 105 shells. Bring the rain!":oops: If I can do it all, that would be sweet!

Whatever pays good $$$! Seriously though, I am just going to take it a day at a time, and see where things lead me. I want to travel, and am thinking about just moving to a place for a year or so, explore the area and to work as necessary and move on for however long I feel like. I don't want to work 8-5, it's a short time I'll be alive, I want to see the world......well, let's just start at the U.S. for now.

I already have 2 years of college done and am enlisting in the Air Force now, and then once i can i will re-enroll into a better college to finish off my BA, and then apply for OCS. I will probably go for Air Force Security while i am enlisted. I will be enlisting within the next couple of weeks. I will be joining the military as a career, i do not plan to leave the military until i am forced to retire.

Wow. How old are you? Do you have to have OCS to get into the Air Force Academy? Good luck man.
Not sure. Im edging towards something with psychology and/or philosophy. A teacher perhaps? Most people would say I would be corrupting the yound mings, but we will see who corrupts who.
Well I will join the military (Navy probably) for 4 years, and if I like it, I'll go for 20 years, make good investments and save along the way, and then get my pension and semi-retire. Then I'll probably get some side job that I enjoy doing, since I won't even be 45 yet.
If I don't like it, I wont re-enlist, and I'll go (back) to college, but I don't know what for yet.
Clinical Psychologist, maybe if i'm in a position like that I can also say video games have no or little effect on the majority of children playing them
I have a contract with the Army to serve either 4 or 7 years after college and I haven't decided what I'm going to do after that. I might shoot for 20 years in the Army so I can get full benefits or I might get out after my initial contract and pursue a teaching career at the high school or, potentially, the college level. I really have no idea beyond the Army right now.
No idea, I've always wanted to do something involving astronomy, astrophysics etc but I highly doubt I'm going to be able to get into any firelds like that, I've also considered maybe joining the airforce or becoming some kind of engineer but really I have no idea what I should do.
