I am currently re-reading Ulysses by James Joyce. Also reading some short stories. They are enjoyable. So what about you?

The Evolution of Strategy by Beatrice Heuser. I find it quite interesting, though it certainly is a long read and probably only for those who enjoy history. I'll also be starting Slaughterhouse Five for school soon, which I'm really looking forward to.

11/22/63 was good, but I personally thought it was a bit of a let down. I was expecting more from it. I don't want to go further into it in case I spoil something. QUESTION: Are you reading all those AT THE SAME TIME? or are they just on the list?

Yeah I heard it's pretty good. I don't mind scientists expressing their theories and opinions about God and the Galaxy, but I don't like when Dawkins says THERE IS NO GOD, or I KNOW THERE IS NO GOD. No one actually knows. But this is Off Topic. Back to the books !!!

There were certainly problems with the story, and I admit that Under the Dome felt much more like the old-school Stephen King with which most of his fans fell in love, but it was a charming little take on time travel, and that was really what I wanted out of the book so I liked it.

^^ Yeah the book was good, and as King said it was his first time travel book so he did pretty well. The last quarter of the book just had no impact....and it slowed down too much through the middle. Under the Dome is CLASSIC Stephen King. Awesome Book.

I don't like when people say they know something when it's impossible to do so. Probably an opposition to that kind of thinking I guess? What I mean by no opposition, I respect Atheists and their beliefs. But no more of this cause it's Off Topic.

It was a story started in the 80s about people trapped in a hotel. He lost most of the manuscript but cites the story as his inspiration for Under the Dome. Part 1Part 2

Too bad it's not a complete manuscript; I got to the end the first time I read it (this was before Under the Dome was released, even) and was bummed out wanting to read the rest. It's too bad someone probably found the manuscript pages somewhere and didn't do the honest thing and return them.

Just finished listening to an audiobook "not taco bell material" by Adam Carolla. I know it's not the same as reading but it's mentionable because it was the most inspirational book I've read(or heard). It's all about his life from his poor upbringings to his rise to wealth and fame.

Dawkins claims nothing of the sort ;)

It's from a video I saw of him talking about God and stuff.

His goal seems to be that of one who wants to educate people on religion should not be blindly followed, and telling someone who is devoutly religious that they "might not be completely accurate" isn't going to accomplish much. As he described himself on his own scale, he is a "6.9" out of "7", with "7"being "I know as fact that there is no God." and "1" being the opposite. Basically, it seems so unlikely to him that there is no deity currently observing and/or interfering with the universe that there is no reason to live as if there is one. He is making a claim to get your attention, and then elaborating and providing evidence for his claims. It's like an article in a newspaper, on something that seems ridiculous at first. For example, there is a type of fungus that infects ants in certain rain forests and basically makes them look like horrifying bugs with a sort of stem coming out of the top. This causes the ants to produce spores to infect other ants, although it only seems to succeed in roughly 6.5 percent of infected ants. This is not particularly frightening, since it is generally unsuccessful, but a headline of "Zombie Apocalypse hits Ants" is much more interesting than stating everything I just said as a title. After making this claim, the article elaborates and explains what the headline means, and then provides evidence that this actually happens. It's rather simple, really.

Sadly I can answer this question...they're all very similar, but I'd say one. Why? Because #000001 is as close to absolute black as you can get in HTML, and I always like my text to be black.

I was slightly incorrect in my wording. You can have #000000 (absolute black), but you said 1-10 so I omitted zero.

Two questions, if I may. 1) Which GL is it? 2) By Red Hood, do you mean Tim Drake?

Edit: Actually, there's one more. Who's the guy in you sig and what show is he from?
