I'm interested in studying game programming or some sort of software writing.
It would be intriguing to know what fellow Gamespotters are aspiring to study or are currently studying or currently doing as a job.

Studying: Psychology.
Work: Security guard. Really, really crappy and boring but it's something to hold me over until I can upgrade to something a whole lot better. And hopefully soon...
A lot of things.
Nothing in particular that is related to my future job. I'm in that phase where I'm trying to figure out who I really am. I'm interested in a lot of things. I even read about girl stuff. Lol.
Studying: Neuroscience
Work: Currently working on a long term research project in my lab. Takes about 40-50 hours a week and I get no pay out of any of it. I'm also writing up a jounral article manuscript as a first author on my research for publication and, again, get nothing of it except some credit and something that's going to make getting into a graduate program much easier. As for the future, my career plan is to be a research scientist/professor in biopsychology.
I'm a History major and I'm studying American history from 1975 to present, Civil War, and Colonial America. I hope to start my graduate degree when I graduate next semester so I can begin teaching within a few years.
I'm in my third year of aerospace engineering.
As for work, I teach integral calc at my university. And have an internship in engineering this summer.
My Major is Computer Networking and I'm currently preparing for the A+ Certification Exam. I'm scared hold me.
At university I studied Biochemistry, U.S. History (emphases on Postwar consumerism, Cold War nuclear policy, and the development of modern city culture), and Accounting.
My job: I audit the financial statements and SEC filings of publicly traded companies for a global accounting firm.

You don't make six figures in public accounting unless you progress to either manager, executive principal, or partner. I don't plan to go that far. Of all the people who enter a public accounting career (either audit or tax), less than 1% remain to reach partner level. The attrition rate is hideous due to the immense amount of work and the time/budget pressures.
My ultimate goal is teaching.
