What are you using? Windows or Mac OS ?

I was watching call for help, the g4tv and the dude said to get a mac its totally fine...

i am no computer wiz...i have a windows xp from dell, etc...but something about the mac system is bit luring.

i am assuming stuff like windows office wont run, would stuff like dvd power, winamp, msn messenger, bit torrent, etc run on mac?

or i do i need specific mac software?

anyone using mac herE?

I haven't used a Mac since college in the late 90's and more than likely it will probalby be the last time I use one. I'm in a Windows world at home and work.

As for software with most stuff you do have to get the Mac version. It does come with a lot more useful and actually half-decent stuff than Windows does though so you won't have a completely useless system with no software. Office for Mac uses all of the same file types as Windows so they are 100% compatible, along with most other file types. Trust me though, you would not regret it if you got one. You might want to wait for Lepord though, won't be too much longer till it's coming out.

I have both, currently I'm on the Windows machine but I love the mac, you wouldn't regret it to get one. Anybody that says Windows is better for anything but pretty much gaming and like database type stuff just has never used a mac. They are amazing for just everyday use, photos, video, audio, presentations, etc. OS X is simply amazing when it comes to operating systems.
