and you need 80 total credits to pass the year and so far i have 56 credits and I'm currently
studying for the end of year exams, so fingers crossed I pass

oh: forgot to mention that I am a junior in high school and I am taking Physics X (x=accelerated), Japanese 3X, AP Calculus, World Lit X, Geography X, andPsychology.SmashBrosLegendWhat are you doing with 3 of my classes? What a coincidence.
I only see two classes that are the same, and they really aren't the same. Physics X and physics are not the same thing, and Japanese 3 is certainly not the same thing as Japanese 3 X. SmashBrosLegendWhat's with the X'es? When you put that at the end of the classes it makes them look like the titles of videogames...lol
It stands for accelerated. (sorry I can't quote you, but Linux+Opera don't seem to get along too well with these forums).SmashBrosLegendOh, got it. Here they call that AP (advanced placement) if that's the same thing.

SmashBrosLegendI think you grossly over estimate the difficulty level of honors (accelerated in your vernacular) and AP courses. I, myself took AP Psychology, AP Statistics, AP US History, AP Literature, AP Language and Composition and other honors courses and I didn't find them horribly difficult. On the AP Exams I got all 5s except for a 4 in Statistics. My point is that there is no need for elitism. I am convinced many people are capable of achieving the same thing if they sit down and do the work. I find character is a more important determinant than intelligence.

Year TWELVE?...last time I checked that was the first year of post-school/college. Schools only go up to year 11 and the GCSE's end there...I thought.

It must be different in other parts of the UK. I live in Northern Ireland and here the first year of High School is year 8 (about 11 years old). :|
Year 11 is the first year of GCSE and Year 12 the second.
