Good **** like Neurosis, Immolation , and Deathspell Omega. Those are my top three. Others would be Isis, Disillusion, Gorguts, Weakling, Edge of Sanity, Katatonia and whatever I have just forgotten to mention.

Well if the lyrics incorporate their political views I can see why you wouldnt want to listen.

I'm suprised to see so much metalcore and nu-metal. Anyway I like As I lay Dying, Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, Children of Bodom, Amon Amarth, Killswitch Engage, Scar Symmetry

Radiohead is liberal too. In fact two of them are bi. Not Thom don't worry. :P Hail To The Thief is subtle, they aren't flat out this. Thom even showed up at copenhagen.

Iron Maiden - I just love their overall sound

Judas Priest - You just gotta love Rob Halford

Dream Theater - I love their creativity and they are very talented.

I recommend Streets by Savatage to anybody and everybody. The music is a great blend of metal, hard rock, and piano with a great story (it's a rock opera) to go along with it.

Deftones, Black Label Society, Metallica and Fear Factory are my main favourites, although I do enjoy bands like Slipknot (don't understand the hate for these guys) and Korn.

Those are my main favorites. I've also been listening to some Gorguts (From Wisdom to Hate) and Urfaust (Geist Ist Teufel). When it comes to Gorguts I'm either going to really like the song or hate it, but after listening to so of their new material I'm pretty excited for their next album.
