i agree, ill make the same lame joke every comedian who has ever existed has already made "i say let the get married, that way they can be miserable like the rest of us" insert laughter. the only reason i ask is because my brother is a homosexual and he has a problem with it still being illegal in some states.Legal, that way they'd stop complaining already.
What would benefit a person from making gay marriage illegal if they aren't gay Nothing.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not.I don't want a penis in my butt, and I don't wanna' see anyone getting a penis in their butt, 'cos it's un-christian, so it should be illegal. >:[

I imagine it to be rather depressing to know that you can't ever marry someone you love. It's rather unfair for it to be illegal in that case. Obviously a lot of hetrosexual individuals can't understand why they would want it, but should look at it in a way they'd understand. How'd they feel if they couldn't ever marry the ones there sexual orientation revolves around?
it's things like this why i hate religion if it goes against it you get a mob we have to listen.......I don't want a penis in my butt, and I don't wanna' see anyone getting a penis in their butt, 'cos it's un-christian, so it should be illegal. >:[

Didn't we have this thread earlier in the week?
I think it is a son against god.

Going to assume you mean "sin against god". That's what you think, and that's all fine for you to think that. But there is this tiny little thing about the separation of church and state. You (or anyone else) believing gay marriage to be morally questionable should ideally have zero impact on weather It's legal or not. Passing laws based on religious ideology is the exact opposite of what our government is designed around.
In fact the system is designed to protect peoples rights, including homosexuals, FROM your beliefs and religion.

I don't think its a sin against god, I support gay marrage.

if it's against the bible it should be against the law. the bible was the foundation for laws, so in the end even atheists are bound by gods words.I don't want a penis in my butt, and I don't wanna' see anyone getting a penis in their butt, 'cos it's un-christian, so it should be illegal. >:[

Yea it should be legal. I don't understand why we have to go through an entire process to enact it. Why can't the president just be like, gay marriage is legal now, deal with it." Politics sucks.ZumaJones07
Because if we didn't have that process then the President would have free reign to enact whatever he wishes with no checks and balances. That's what we generally refer to as a "dictator".

But do we need a process for things that make sense? Something like this should be a quick fix. I don't want Obama to have the power to enact whatever he wants, but common sense things should be tackled with common sense. Why would he be labeled as dictator for this particular issue?[QUOTE="worlock77"][QUOTE="ZumaJones07"]Yea it should be legal. Why would he be labeled as dictator for this particular issue? If you give him the authroity to dictate the law on one issue he then has the power to dictate the law on any issue. The President does not, and cannot make law. That is the job of the legislative branch. This cannot be wavered from on any issue or else our entire system is undermined.
the bible was the foundation for lawsbiohaznerd
 Pretty sure ancient civilizations managed laws and, nay, even democracy long before the bible came to be.
I think it should be legal here in the UK and in places like the US. I believe the way to encourage a liberal change of attitude worldwide is to lead by strong examples rather than fighting silly wars and things.
