Textbooks cost a ridiculous amount. It's almost criminal for certain classes (especially when they try to pawn off that 'online content' as an excuse). I've never seen a band more than once either. Almost saw Veil of Maya twice (my friend is a huge fan; me? not so much...) but I was on vacation that day.
8 Foot Sativa, even though I dont really even listen to them, they are a NZ band so the likelihood of seeing them is pretty good, even though there are like a million other bands i'd rather see.
Probably Manic Street Preachers whom I saw 3 times from 92-94. I saw Mega City 4 and Senseless Things about the same number as well (not that I expect them to mean anything to anyonemind you)
I've seen Metallica twice. St.Anger-era show was awesome because that was my first concert of any kind but looking back now the Death Magnetic-era show (the setlist I got was amazing since it included Fuel, Creeping Death, Battery, Fade To Black, Sad But True, and Last Caress) was alot better. The vocals and guitar work were also vastly improved.

Tell me about it...I spent just shy of 800 bucks for one freakin' semester, and I even saved about 50 bucks because I met a girl there who sold me my math textbook that she had for 100 bucks, when it was used for 140 or something...I got so lucky for that.

The absolute cheapest price I could find my chemistry textbook for was about 120 dollars. :| 160 at the school's book store.
I ended up renting it for the semester for about 75 dollars, but that's still a lot considering that the class also requires an equally as expensive lab book.

I'm in the same boat as the other guy... had to spend just over $800 for my first semester textbooks.... ridiculous! as for being on topic... I've never been to a concert, not really a big music fan.
I think its a tie actually between Boy Sets Fire and Flogging Molly. I have seen both several times. I havent been to a concert in several years tho :(. *sighs*
