I know this might seem like this book is for children, but the book that I enjoyed reading the most is "The Hobbit: There and Back Again".

House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. It changed my life. As has Nāgārjuna's Mūlamadhyamakakārikā (Fundamental Wisdom of the Middle Way, existentialist philosophy on "emptiness" of essence or "inherent existence" in things outside of dependent origination).

It's not exactly a novel but I just finished reading a book about memory techniques, entitled "The Memory Book" and it tought me all sorts of crazy good ways to memorize almost anything. In fact I memorized each US state's year of establishment in about 20 minutes. I'm pretty sure my life wouldn't be nearly what it used to be if it wasn't for what I got out of it. You guys should check it out.

Definitely not a childrens book. Jrr Tolkien intended for it to be a childrens book but no one really classifys it as that. I read all 4 books(The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings) and theyre all amazing books, definitely the best books ive ever read and they blow away stupid harry potter.

Either The Silmarillion, or The Bible.

I just started reading Isaac Asimov's, The Gods Themselves. I'm hoping it lives up to the hype.

EDIT: I forgot to put down The Irrational Athiest in my list.

I just finished reading Misery by Stephen King. It was nice to have a book that was a bit short(300 pages) so you didn't have to spend a long time reading it. Annie Wilkes was also a very original and terrifying villain.

I'm enjoying Dracula quite a bit, though the parts regarding Mina and Lucy's perspectives aren't exactly that exciting.

i always felt Dracula was very dated, i had to read it in a school Literature clas and I did not really enjoy it. I think There are better vampire books like Fevre Dream, I am legend and Salems lot that have made the image of the Vampire much better and more evolved than Bram Stoker did. Dracula played off the repressed sexuality of the time it was written, it was pretty much a pulp novel that happened to do really well and influence alot. There isnt much about it literature wise that is exceptional.

Speaker for the Dead and Ender's Shadow are good, but I heard all the other ones kind of suck.

They arean't bad but they all seemed kinda...pointless and unnessasary, they are not really bad but more like average.

Every book I've ever read by choice has been outstanding. The Amber Spyglass was a great ending to a great series.
