Yeah, but I honestly LOVED the last Lemony Snicket book. 8 was my favorite, followed by 7. I thought 9, 10, 11, and 12 were pretty bad, but 13 was awesome! I read 12 and finished it in seventh grade and just stopped. I had no interest in finishing up the series, but this Summer (I'll be in tenth grade this August 18, 2008.) I decided to give it another go. It seriously was a hell of a lot better than I expected. I also found it to be quite humorous, as well.
Harry Potter...? EVERYONE reads those books. I wouldn't call those children books. I actually thought they got a lot darker with each installment.
Last Summer, I read some of "those books," like Farenheit 451, The Catcher in the Rye, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, To Kill a Mockingbird, Lord of the Flies, Romeo & Juliet, and the like.
This Summer's been quite different, though.
