Ha, right on. I actually regret getting it. Didn't realize how freaking big the case was till it was delivered to my front door. Realized that the box my 42" TV came in and my computer case box were about the same size :P
Want to build my own need money though. I'm taking computer classes at school now and networking classes should be great.
Custom PC, parts from Newegg. It's a piece of crap now, but it was once a beast of a PC, back in 2006. :P
My computer is a mash up of,
1. HP-motherbord,Windows XP. Small amout of ram 512mb, and 56k modem card. (56k sucks)
2. Compaq- case
3. Dell 19 inch monitor and Dell usb optcical laser mouse (my mouse is like 5 years old and still works great :D)
4. USB Apple white keyboard with built in usb ports.
Master 80gb Western Digital hdd, Slave Western Digital HDD for a combined HDD space of 220 gb.
And its all on a computer desk I made myself out of a big computer desk, Had to remove over 8 inches of the overall length to make it more space friendly.
Very modist setup, but im very happy with it.
I built it myself.
My computer:
Case: Cooler Master RC-690
CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz (4th core unlocked)
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked 896MB
Memory: G.Skill 4GB 1066
PSU: Corsair CMPSU-650TX 650W
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar 640GB (x2)
OS: Windows 7
Monitor: HP w2338h 23"

I BEATS ALL OF U REGARDLESS
Desktop is on the very right, pc on the left of it, is just a backup server...
The computer on the very left the beige one is my router, runs pfsense.
The black one is a network bridge scans incoming traffic for BS used to be a SSH server. It runs untangle based off of Debian.
HP, i'd build my own pc =( but im tooooo poooooooooor8-Bitternesswhat? It's cheaper to make it yourself most times. you mean an additional one? On topic: Self-built. Use the CM HAF 932; no one likes how it looks, but I do 'cause of all the red LED fans I added :D

Use the CM HAF 932; no one likes how it looks, but I do 'cause of all the red LED fans I added :D If you go on the very low end a pre built is much cheaper. Also used PC's can be a good deal sometimes. Now if you go to high end and even mid end gaming then building it yourself is way cheaper. Ive built the last 2 gaming rigs myself and now run an i7 with 6gb of DDR3 compared to a AMD 3500 with 1gb of DDR lol. Really i paid about the same when i bought the parts also.
As for brand names at home:
Laptops: Apple, Toshiba, and Sager
Desktops: Apple (Mini x 2)
All PCs are DIY
