Chrome, AdBlock. Is AdBlock Plus better?CRS98I'm not sure, haven't used Chrome or AdBlock. I also heard that AdBlock Plus on Firefox is different from the AdBlock Plus than Google Chrome. I only use Chrome for websites I am forced to use such as the website for my college and other websites I have to use for school work, and I do so without any add ons to make sure the websites will run correctly. For everything else I use Firefox for.
Opera 12. Adblock, slim scrollbar, one that blocks youtube ads, and a two more to download stuff from youtube, both as video and mp3.

Since ad ons are free why don't you just try ad block plus when you get the chance?
[QUOTE="Kell_the_Gamer"]Wow, ad blockers are getting popular... come on guys some of you need to view the ads for the rest of us! :PNiKvaI've been using adblock for at least 5 years now. Ads fvcking suck and I freak out every time I see one. I actually had stopped watching TV because I can not stand commercial breaks anymore. A few months ago I started feeling guilty I was denying websites I enjoyed money so uninstalled all ad and tracking blockers, I told myself it wouldn't be so bad because I use to do this all the time. One of the worst mistakes I've ever made! Ads have gotten WORST! Now there are commercials before and after youtube videos, there are ad banners that pop up during videos, there are ads that pop up over your screen when you are reading a webpage, and there are ads that now play sound even if you never told them to! But the last straw was a nasty ad that made my browser crash and froze my PC for about a minute before my anti-virus telling me it successfully blocked a virus. If websites aren't going to give a sh*t about my safety and make sure the ads aren't just safe but legit and legal (I have seen ads for emulators on this website despite the fact GameSpot mods tell us they're illegal and we're not allowed to talk about them) I don't see why I should give a sh*t about their revenue and job security.

I haven't ever watched TV actively and my parents just got rid of our cable :D

I pause my adblock when I watch videos on thatguywiththeglasses because I like them and want to support their content, but beyond that I really don't care.
[QUOTE="roulettethedog"]I.E. with no extensions. AVG and Essentials works just fine.

You're sad!
Opera with youtubeADSfree
ad blocker is pretty much built into opera letting you add advertisement addresses so I just stick to that to avoid clutter.
