What can we do?

I hear (or read rather) about how a lot of people thing that OT has been in decline. And in some ways, I agree.

I was wondering if there was anything we could do as a group to pull OT out of the little rut its dug itself.

our first move should be, how do get rid of spam. if we can get mods to lock those threads quickly then we would have better threads

That and people that love clicking the "new topic" button just to see their name on the front page of the forum. OT should be about good conversation and having fun, not 5 seconds of "fame" and ego-stroking behavior.

Its not declining, we're just growing bored of it. When we first got here, it was so cool because we've never seen any of the topics before. But after a while, it gets repetative. Thats when the vets leave, and the n00bs move up in rank. This is how the OT cycle works8)-OpaK-

I agree.  I've been posting here for a few years, and the topics arent getting worse like most people here think.  Its just that we've been here for so long, that it isnt as exciting anymore
