I noticed people here tend to make a poke, or somewhat insult a celebrity that died. But I'd like to know if there's anyone that truly felt shocked or sad of a celebrity that died. Anyone up to share?

Michael Jackson's was pretty out of the blue. Brittany Murphy also since I had no idea she had issues.
No celebrity I ever cared about at all has ever died. What does this tell you?McJuggaeddie guerrero from wwe.
Ronnie James Dio was a total shock, but you have to be a metal head to understandrockrelectric
agreed, also dimebag because of the circumstances it was out the blue and my hopes as a 13 y/o pantera fan at the time mean that all hope of a pantera re-union were smashed :(

Never even heard of him. =\you must not have watched WWF or WCW from the days of actual good wrestling, but anyway EG was super popular later in 2003, if you were watching wrestling then[QUOTE="McJugga"]No celebrity I ever cared about at all has ever died. I don't know about "shocked", but the recent death of Richard Wright affected me the most, considering his prior band membership.

Devastating no doubt. While few people think of him when thinking of Pink Floyd, he made huge contributions to their music.
Easily Layne Staley, I remember being in complete shock that it happened especially at the time with the AIC renioun rumors. RIP Layne. :(
Dio, I just didn't see it coming.NevlimAgreed. Les Paul's passing was a solemn moment as well, though more expected I suppose.

He will be missed!yea dude, its funny how he was at the rock god awards only months before, sigh!!! He was fighting cancer for 4 years man. Yet he sang til the late 3rd year. It sucks that most of the best are really old now. (Tony Iommi, Rob Halford)
Billy Mays :(General_XHow could i forget him?! The only guy that I'v ever known has died and i have said " damn i wish that guy was still alive". Excluding family members.

I've never watched wrestling at all. =[
None of the recent ones have surprised me except Brittany Murphy, only because I wasn't aware of her situation. Heath Ledger's death was a bit of a shock too, but that's about it. MJ's wasn't because he looked like he death warmed over for a long time (practically a walking skeleton), and Billy Mays always seemed so high-strung that it didn't surprise me either.
I feel guilty for posting this.Just a friendly tip: You should delete that post before the mods find it. We're not allowed to mention that site here. Also, there's a decent chance that they'd hit you for "offensive image" posting as well (I don't think the image is that offensive, but I've been modded on here several times for posting things far tamer).UGAfootballfan
