Pakistan/India. No other country comes even remotely close in terms of flavour. European food me to be is bland, I like pizza and pasta, but come on it can't contend with South Asian cooking.

Chinese food. I am not talking about the Americanized Dim Sum/Hong Kong dishes that you find in America. I'm talking the mainland rural stuff like Hunan. Mmmmmmmm

I especially love Asian cuisine; Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Indian
But Mediterranean food like Italian, Spanish, Greek and Turkish is also delicious!
Moroccan cuisine is also delicious

There's just too much great food to choose..

I hate fast food, but to be fair, most resturaunts don't care about your nutrition either. Their priorities are usually money or taste.

Almost all Culinary Schools are based on either French or Italian style cooking. I'd pick either France or Italy.

There are plenty of culinary traditions not based on French or Italian styles.

Of Course. But the vast majority, and most classically trained chefs are trained in French or Italian.

Oh, I understand what you're getting at and you do have a valid point. I suppose I'm just knit picking the term "most" and feel it should be "western.". I also feel the term "classically trained chefs" is somewhat loaded in that the term essentially means somebody trained in the French/Italian traditions. For example if somebody were to train in traditional and classical Indonesia techniques, they wouldn't earn the title "classically trained."

They are trained in French skills, like knife skills. The actual food those chefs go to put out is not French.

Best overall food: The US and it's not even close. We have some of the best chefs in the world in every major category/nationality. Likewise, we just have an almost endless amount of at least decent restaurants for just about any nation's food.

Best type of food: Chinese

Italian food for flavor, Greece for sheer amount of food and tzatziki.

'Mexican' Food is great too for its ingenuity.
