What cryptids or monsters do you believe are real? For me, The Kracken and maybe Megalodon.

I wasn't aware that that Giant Squid was a Cryptid, since it's been seen alive in the wild now.

I don't believe in any Cryptids, really, some of them may existed at one point but not anymore.

I wish Nessie existed though, so we could say we've got something those Limeys don't... DINOSAURS!

I do not want to write a three page essay on this but I am a big fan of el chupacabra. Im not a fan of belief, I just do exsists or not exsist, and I have always felt this is the one case in the cryptozoology bestiary that might exsist. But i will not say they do.

I'm sorry. The giant squid has been proven real. I was leaning more toward The Kracken.

Only 2 meters long? Lame, that's not a giant squid! We want a real monster, one which can pull a aircraft carrier down under with it's tentacles!

I believe it's the colossal squid you're thinking of. It's the largest invertebrate known to exist.

The only one I think is possible is the Bloop. We know very little about the deep sea, so I think there's a possibility this one could actually exist.

I believe in Sasquatch. Mostly because I live in BC and it's just more fun to believe that there is still stuff out there to find. From a logical standpoint I shouldn't believe in it.

I want to believe in Bigfoot/Yeti, and do believe in the Giant Squid which I think there is more and more evidence for here in the last few years. The one that was caught in a net of the coast of Japan last year was fairly small, but the bite marks seen in some deep sea whales are huge.

tzar3

We have seen Giant Squids before. Their carcasses often wash up on shore. Remains have been found in the guts of sperm whale. And just in the last few years we've managed to capture pictures of them alive:

well I have to say that you can't really say that something was or is not real I mean alotof these creatures are from old stories that for all you know like many creatures today went extinct...so I would have to say I am not sure what I believe was or is real more I believe that mabye nessie is still alive for one and maybe bigfoot and such things that are "sighted" today still but anything before that I have to go with I reserve my answer because I can't say for sure that they were real or not or if they just went extinct like alot of spieces do.

Sasquatch, there's simply too many sightings of the same creature going back hundreds of years even in natives stories. Plus footprint evidence (sometimes with dermal ridges/fingerprints) etc for it to be a hoax. Same goes to a lesser degree for Yetis and to an even lesser degree for Yowie. Some large things left to be discovered in the seas, some of them probably particularly nasty too. Lake monsters are definitely around, who's to say what they really are though, plesiosaurs I doubt. The echolocation readings from Lake Champ are an interesting anomaly. I don't like the idea of surviving dinosaurs for a number of reasons, but the Mkole-Membe or whatever it's called interests me. Not sure what it is though.

The Mokele Membe is a Sauropod like dinosaur. Theres another one called Emela Ntouka which is like a triceratops. I dont believe those creatures exist but still pretty interesting. Living Dinosaurs are a bit hard to digest into believing they still exist.

most cases of the chucapabra are sightings of dogs and coyote with a disease call Mange. it makes their hair fall off, and makes them irrational. i do believe in Bigfoot, and possibly the creature in Lake Champlain.
