Thats if you played any of course. I dont meanclimbing a treeor wrestling, more like jumping from roof to roof sort of thing. Im back home for the rest of the week and i went to check on my little brothers. To my utter shock i was suprised how normal they were (in terms of the games they played). These are some of the games me, my older bro and friends played (in no particular order).

1 - In this game we'd go near a semi busy road. What you had to do is put on a blind fold, count to 5 or 10 and then run across the road to the other side. It was so much fun, my older bro made the game up and quite a lot of people started doing it. Someone got clipped by a car, it attracted media attention sowe stopped.

2. Another game we played was at the park. There was a set of 4 swings, 4 people would get on them and swing at different times. The aim of the game was to run through before any swung back and hit you. You cant stop too. This game was different as we had levels of progression. I remember one where you had to use a blind fold (of course :P). I got like 2 bloody noses and a fat lip from this game. Someone lost a tooth aswell but we kept playing this till we grew out of it.

3 - When the local fair swang around, they were selling BB guns so we all bought one. The game we played here is everyone lines up against a wall, youcant go forward only side to side and a person with a BB gun stands back (cant remember how far but it wasnt too far) and just tries to shoot whilst the others dodge. Twas another fun game. Till someone got shot just under their eye so we had to stop.

This is alli can think of right now but there were tons. What are some dangerous games you played as a kid?

Tree hopping. I grew up in the dense forests of Northern Wisconsin. It was quiet possible to travel from one end of the forest to the other without touching the ground. It was also quite dangerous at 20 feet up.

At night, lay out in the road like a cross, and see how long you could stand to wait as a car approached. We called it Dead Man's Cross. I can't believe no one died playing that.

Another thing is we would hang in a rough part of town and hide/run from every car, acting like each vehicle was a drive-by.

Yeah, my friends and I did some pretty stupid things as kids.

My friend and I both got slingshots and would shoot random stuff at eachother; marbles, ball bearings, nuts and bolts...anything heavy and small.

Also, we used to shoot bottlerockets at eachother. That by itself is not so dangerous, but we would do it in the open space during the summer behind our houses; when you have hundreds and hundreds of acres of nothing but dry grass with nice suburban homessurrounding the area, its not a smart idea to be lighting fireworks lol

Outside of that, nothing too dangerous.

Dead Man's Cross was a popular one here. 5 years ago someone got hit and killed by a bus while playing it on the road just outside of my estate. We never played it since.

Michael Jackson is gone, the world is a safer place. I would have to say Mortal Kombat was my most dangerous game. If you lost, it resulted in a fatality. Can't say many other games have that much danger as a result for losing. BTW, I appreciate the Crossfire reference.

I don't remember playing any "dangerous" games.

As I see it, games that cause danger do not exist.

Bottle rocket wars. We used two pieces of PVC pipe and used them like bazookas firing bottle rockets at each other from across a field.

Various firework wars, compressed air BB gun wars, dabbled in a little backyard wrestling with make shift weapons and such, we did do a bunch of racing down this really huge hill on tonka trucks, razor scooters, radio flyer wagons (original metal ones) the hill had a curve on it that led into another hill and the goal was to get down both without wrecking. At one point we even lit a skateboard ramp on fire and you had to ramp through it to finish. Lot's of injuries, fights and chaos.

BB gun war. Its like the paintball of today but without the sissy balls of paint. Playing that at night, in the woods was the most fun i think ive ever had.

It was immensely painful when you got shot which i think was what made it so fun. The actually having to play well to avoid real life pain and injury. It was like hunting and being hunted without the death part.

Bottle rocket wars!

We'd get about 1,000 bottle rockets each and re-enact Vietnam, with each other as targets. We even devised a rapid-fire system that was brutal.

I still can't hear properly.

Dead Man's Cross is probably one of the most dangerous games ever :S

I usually played with kitties. By throwing them at my friends. Dead kitties. Which I ran over. In a car.

I played a game called "deaf, blind and muted statues" a lot.... its a game where there are 2 rows of people, a really long line, all the people in the lines must be completly inmovile and with their hands in the air. then someone passes in the middle of the 2 rows, and then, people start hitting him from the back, if he spots the guy who hitted him, then that guy must pass the rows. they must keep passing until they found someone who hit them. also, one called "the lime street" basically the same as the previous one, cept the people could move (but not get outside the lines) then someone passed on the middle, when he did, everyone throwed kicks and punches to him until he reached the other side of the road
