Just curious.
I bought a black gamcube with Smash Bros Melee, and Viewtiful Joe when they were brand new.

Hard to remember. I think maybe a dreamcast and sonic adventure
A Nintendo 64.
If you count like mowing loans and stuff; that was my real first purchase along with Star Fox 64.
First actual job? Probably a PS2 game back in high school.
Odd chores around the neighborhood? No idea, probably a book ha.
Nothing special. Went to the supermarket most likely, to buy all the crap I like to eat.
I thought I was the only one who did such a lame and pathetic thing after receiving his first paycheck.I went to the most expensive supermarket which sells imported food items that are considered such a niche and novelty around here and bought so much of these pointless, stupid stuff. I remember having 4 types of cereals at the same time lying around in my room. I also indulged in quality Israeli products rofl.
I miss having a job.
Was going to stay quiet until I saw your post and decided to combine my voice with yours :P

Is that an Arabic saying translated to English? Cause it sounded kinda weird lol
LP records.
Me too! I remember standing at the local Kmarts trying to decide between two that I wanted and realized "I HAVE MONEY ENOUGH FOR BOTH!" so I bought both.

If you're trying to get technical and count money that I got from family for working around the house I probably used it for an old Bugs Bunny game that came out for the NES in 1990. At least that is the first thing I remember buying with my own cash outside of candy.
I can't pinpoint it perfectly, but I'm almost certain that the majority of it went towards video games. I'm sure that stesilaus would be bitching about child labor, but **** that. 21st-century child labor is the shit. Video games, junk food, movie tickets, etc., and NO BILLS.

Food is my passion so no guilts. :P
A pair of sunglasses, some clothes, a cellphone and a new controller for my console. Aside from bills/rent/etc.
My first paycheck was a very long time ago, but in my current job, one of the first things I did when the paychecks started coming in was build my new rig. It was a really rewarding experience, especially when I powered it on for the first time and it worked!
Just curious.

@deeliman: It actually is and I didn't pay attention to it. I'm not sure if it has an English equivalent. I think it would be "Join forces with someone" or something like that.
Sounds more analogous to "just throwing my 2 cents in".

What I was meaning to say is that I wanted to support and reinforce his position or like relate to it myself.

I don't think we have anything like "add my voice to yours" except for the formal "I second that" or perhaps "I can relate".
I do like "add my voice to yours", though...I may start using it. :-D

As a non-native speaker, you can confuse expressions and structures of your native language with those of your second language and vice versa, resulting in somehow amusing expressions and anomalies :P
And by all means, spread creativity around rofl

I've often wondered about just how much the syntax of language dictates thought and therefore culture.
It's difficult to give a short synapses of what I'm trying to say...maybe something like: Is 'German Engineering' a result of German language and its effect on the syntax of a native speakers thought?
But umm...that's another topic, I suppose.
Probably weed, possibly with a blunt wrap and some crack to sprinkle on it which was what I enjoyed at the time.
