What did you guys think about the movie kick-ass? Pretty weird huh?

I watched the movie and it was pretty entertaining. There's no denying it was nice how in the beginning they were satirizing the comic book genre.

It did start to get sort of... uncomfortable or weird toward the end, with the whole love interest thing and whatnot but overall pretty enjoyable movie.

I liked it a lot, it's not 2010's best, but it was really good, I loved Hit Girl the most.

Hilarious. The comical sections were done perfectly and the serious (or at least semi-serious) mobster sections were spot on.

I havent seen it and I really have no desire to.

What are some main points you liked about the character? I felt she was pretty awesome, however I think speaking in tongues and using generic terms in the English language to demonstrate insult doesn't really make her hardcore or a "bad-ass", it just shows one's limited vocabulary.

Actually I was wondering how did they find a stunt double for the girl? The actioney scenes were pretty darn great.

I know, he talks about Youtube and the Internet but doesn't mention the fact that the net can be a cesspool for pornographic material? I suppose kudos to him for being able to use his imagination ... :?

How old is he supposed to be in the movie? Anyway I think that part was mostly just the set-up to show how much of a "loser" he is and then he turns into mr cool dude.

I think this is the main reason anyone enjoyed it. I can't sit through most action movies with Nicholas Cage anymore because I know how desperate he is to play "superhero" roles (he changed his damn name after a comic book character). It makes me feel like I'm watching a nerd cosplaying on camera.

The movie itself was sub-average, but there were a few scenes that were well worth watching.

Weird. I just finished watching the movie.

It was good but I found it abit difficult to watch. Since alot of it was basically just a teenage kid getting the crap beat out of him. And not comical crap beat out of him.

I didn't like the whole thing with Red Mist. I found Nick Cage to be very very good in the movie. Alot of people say Hitgirl steals the show in the movie but I felt Nick Cage as Big Daddy was the show stealer for me. He also looked awesome in that suit.

I felt the movies ending was rushed. There was no real closure to me and I felt some questions were left unanswered (You'd think his girlfriend would of dumped him, for one.)

It also seems to set itself up for a sequel.

I was really liking it until Hitgirl came along and sliced up those guys, then it was kind of disturbing. At the end I was thinking "You just killed like 100 people, how do you think you will feel after."

I felt it said a message.

It pretty much told us how humanity is.

People would rather youtube a fight than try and stop it.

Chloe Moretz single-handedly made that movie awesome.

I absolutely loved it. It's not a masterpiece or anything, but for what it was (which is a completely over the top super hero parody with lots of action) I thought it was perfect.

It was pretty good, I don't get why everyone loved Hit Girl though. And I thought Kick-Ass would do more...umm...ass kicking...

it was a bit of a let down for me. i really could not stand the main character and there were just far too many ridiculously cheesy lines and scenes. hit girl absolutely saves this movie from being a total waste of time.
