It only came together at the very end, otherwise it was pretty poor. It had all the right elements, but they just didn't string it all together very well until the very end.
I was entertained by it, but I disagreed with the message of the film. Walking by faith is a very silly thing to do in my opinion. I did enjoy the twist at the end regardless.
It was pretty much the stock template for a postapocalyptic action movie. Some nice fight scene choreography, but everything else was so completely uninspired, and the "religious significance" they were going for was totally half-assed.
Loved the camera work during the action scenes and the sound was done very well. Hated the constant slowmo power walks of Denzel Washington the inevitable carried on to Mila Kunis. Washington's acting was pretty good in retrospect as you can actually percieve him as a blind when looking back on the film. Kunis came off whiney and naive and didn't quite pull it off. Oldman was good. Overall 8/10

Really? I thought it was one of his worst performances ever. He's really amazing in Leon/The Professional though. oh, it was no sid vicious, but gary oldman has fun in stupid movies and it shows.
Seems that the majority of OT fancy themselves movie critics. I thought the movie was pretty good. Although the post-apocalyptic wasteland setting has been done to death, in movies and video games.
I thought it was enjoyable. Great action scenes, Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman were good as usual (though I would like to kick whoever decided to cast Mila Kunis in the face), and it had some fantastic settings and camera work. The opening and the fight under the bridge in specific were great. Story was a bit hokey, as was the twist, but it made for an interesting experience at least.

Action scenes were the best thing going for the movie, even though i enjoy dezel in pretty much everything this movie seemed pretty forgetable. The story was really weak even if it tried to be deep with the religious overtones.
