IMO it was not only one of the best movies of the year, but one of the best movies of the Decade, almost beating Inception and the Dark Knight and a hell lot of other fantastic movies.

I thought I was going to be alone on this opinion. Especially when it's a Pixar movie. :POne of the top Pixar films and one of the best films I have seen.

believe it or not i am not a big fan of Toy Story..
there are other 3D movies, even Pixar movies i liked Ratatouille, and WALLE more.
however that said.
without spoiling anything, i absolutely loved the ending in Toy Story 3 and was very touched.
That - to me - better be where they end Toy Story.
It was alright. It was unneedingly depressing and I didn't care for the set up. I also don't get why they just off screen killed/got rid of some characters like Bopeep and the squeak penguin.
I've never heard ANYONE say anything bad about a Pixar film, why would you think you would be alone? Lol. I loved it. Almost cried, then got mad when I realized Im growing up (Im 18 ).

I have. Cars was meh. Bugs life was equally meh.
Toy Story 3 was pretty good, but I think it's a little overrated. It is still good though, just not as good as people say, at least for me.
One of the best movies i ve ever seen, and probably the best animated film i ve seen in my life MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN INCEPTION, and other films that came out the same year. Yeah i cried ;(
Agreed, I thought it was quite overrated. It was good but not as good as the previous Toy Story films. Also I love your avatar, Circle Takes The Square kick ass.Toy Story 3 was pretty good, but I think it's a little overrated. It is still good though, just not as good as people say, at least for me.

It was a top-notch movie and provided me with a fresh story. However, I must say I liked Up more. Yes, I cried at the beginning of Up.

To be honest, I got bored with Dark Knight. Toy Story 3 was a lot more entertaining even though it was geared for "kiddies".
I never cried so hard during a kids movie.
Basically, it was friggin' amazing. Nothing wrong with it- and I'm the type that ruthlessly tears apart kid's movies.
Plus, it's one of the first things I actually had nostalgia for, (I'm 14), so yeah.
The fact that I watched it with my long time friends the summer before we went to college made it incredibly emotional for us (I'm actually surprised I didn't cry, because it was really that sad at the ending). Aside from that though, I absolutely adored it, and it is definitely at the top of my list for favorite movies, ever.
It was a Pixar movie, entertaining, but it didn't really stick out to me like it did everybody else. I didn't even get close to crying and I can cry during really emotional scenes so I don't really understand all of the people that said they cried.
Well you have no soul. So it doesn't count. It was a Pixar movie, entertaining, but it didn't really stick out to me like it did everybody else. I didn't even get close to crying and I can cry during really emotional scenes so I don't really understand all of the people that said they cried.

It wasn't geared towards kiddies. Pixar's direction is to create deep inspirational movies with elements that only adults will understand but the movies can still be understood and enjoyed by children as well. Pixar movies are very very deeply layered. Sometimes with more powerful stories and examples than most live action films.I gotta say, TS3 is probably the most well received movie on the internet. I've honestly only seen maybe a few people outright not like the movie, and most of the time everyone else says they pretty much love it.
This makes me happy.
I don't really understand why it's making all these people cry... but it might be beacuse I'm not as connected with these movies are others are. Although, even if I was connected to it, I didn't see anything that warranted crying. I'm a little confused about that, but whatever. frostybananaNostalgia for the series, a familiar guilt brought upon with our old toys, it just being well done in general, etc.

It's not like every time I see a Power Ranger I start bawling like a 2 year old. It's probably just me. My girlfriend cried at the end of it and I couldn't have been any more confused.
I loved it. So many good laughs when watching it. Especially...
